The delusion beggars belief!!
Adam Booth "Although he lost every round..The rounds were close" - Oh well that's alright then..
David Haye "If he wants another superfight" - You stunk the place out Mate...You're not a "Superfighter" anymore!..and you don't deserve a rematch anyway...
Adam Booth - "Disgusted with the referee and the count!!!"..Well that's right as he was only 99-91 down at the time!!! it made all the difference.
David Haye "My toe stopped me throwing heavy punches" - Oh so you kidded thousands of Brits into spending their hard earned money believing you had a chance of winning..Maybe you should have your purse withheld...under the goods description act..
Anyway I'm disgusted with the post fight cocky bravado.....I stuck up for the guy but some people knew better!! He has no class...just a delusional guy who should look at his rival and take note how to come across.
Booth and Haye jog on..

Well said. This is why I have never been able to warm to Haye. All mouth and no trousers when it mattered I'm afraid. The toe is just an excuse. I hope he isn't able to use it as a tool to force a rematch.................

Took the money and ran in my opinion..
Ask everybody on here not to buy a rematch should it happen...
He'll leg it with a few more million....
I thought Bruno was out of order when he moaned at 3.1 mil for Tyson 2...
but I think he just got scared..though he meant to fight...
This guy didn't want to get hurt.

I'd back Haye to beat Vitali... less athletic, not so reliant on throwing the jab......
I'll pay thousands to go and see it as well

No, he didn't want to get hurt. All this talk of how is a 'born fighter', he isn't. He's an on top fighter.

Truss
For a guy who "took the money and run" i don't think we would've seen him finally (and the rest) having a go in the 12th. If he'd fought and thrown more like he did in that round it'd have been interesting to see....
Pot shotted from distance as he couldn't figure out the jab. Didn't run a la Cotto v Manny. Only thing you can accuse him of is getting the tactics seriously wrong and not having a big go sooner.
You built him up buddy, does it feel good to give him a verbal knocking down?

I actually do think he'd stand more chance.... Vitali likes a scrap, not so reliant on the jab, is slowing down with each fight etc.....
He still knocks Haye into next week, but think Haye would have a bit more success before having his senses rearranged.
And i reckon that fight will get made personally as Vitali will want to knock 7 bells out of him

Bonecrusher smith and Tony Tucker both "Had a go" in the 12th!!!!
Because they were so relieved the finishing line was there and they were going to be okay...
Bonecrusher landed the best punch of the fight!!

Re: The delusion beggars belief!!
While I think that some (note that I said 'some') of the backlash on here aimed towards Haye has been slightly over the top, I agree that he needs to keep it shut for a while now, and the same goes for Booth.
In particular, I've been annoyed at the way in which Haye seems to think that Wladimir would be somehow ducking him if a rematch didn't materialize. "If he can't knock me out while I'm practically on one leg, is he really going to want to face me again when I'm one hundred percent fit?" I've also been a little bemused at Haye's claim that he "almost got Klitschko out of there a couple of times."

Mate of mine has just sent me a link on FB to Sky's "As it happened"......
The guy doing the text commentary had Wlad by 2 rounds and pretty much even after the first 8/9!!!!
Unbelievable!!! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,21235_7012763,00.html
I had it 118-110

Re: The delusion beggars belief!!
Nope......
Just my card mate...and it's subjective.....didn't agree with the point.
The fight reminded me of tyson-ratcliff....In the buildup Tyson was a little boy who was going to be spanked off his poppa..plus about a hundred other lines..
Then he ran like a thief..

There have been a few people that had it close, strangely enough. I imagine they must have been largely ignoring the ineffective glancing jabs that Wlad was landing, as that was what was separating the two of them in the majority of the rounds. It really was very close in terms of clean work, but in no way can the glancing jabs be ignored, they are still scoring shots, despite them doing absolutely nothing, and owing to the fact that Wlad threw and landed these, and Haye didn't, it means the rounds have to go to Wlad.
Re: The delusion beggars belief!!
I wasn't a lone voice but I had a lot of people taking a swing when I wrote about Haye's classlessness on the old site.

Fair enough.
I had it 116-111, but I didn't see the 'knockdown' as my, erm, Sky, er, went off for a minute.

Haye actually landed the more power shots....
36 to 29.....
Wlad just negated everything by doing his usual jab jab borefest
Quite why he isn't in for a fair bit of abuse is a bit beyond me, he spoiled and didn't exactly go for it anymore than Haye did (threw 14 more power punches).
I'd ban the jab as a scoring shot personally.......

Were you using an illegal stream? I've heard that they get taken down at random times, maybe that's what happened.

Re: The delusion beggars belief!!
Agreed mate, he was the one throwing the punches and although the work wasn't by any means clean, it was still more than Haye did.
Like I said above, very close in terms of clean work, in fact Haye may have even shaded it in that respect, but the others aspects belonged to Wlad, who simply outworked him in almost every round. Being outlanded 2 to 1 does not get you decisions...

Has paid the price for being a lazy and complacent champion, should have fought more often to build up experience at the weight instead of hurling out insults, silly t-shirts and offensive Hitler videos before fighting like an angry Ken Barlow.
