GREAT NIGHTS BOXING!
The beers are getting cold, the curry is on its way. Looking forward to a great evenings domestic action with a well stacked card.

Re: GREAT NIGHTS BOXING!
Let's hope the standard is higher than Gavin-Woodhouse, which was a whole lot closer than I imagined and, in my opinion, speaks of a serious problem in the Gavin camp. Now I find it hard to believe that we can have overrated the skills of a world amateur champion, so something else must account for such a massive struggle to deal with a game but limited fighter of the stamp of Woodhouse.
Someone, in my opinion, has started to believe his own press and seems to think that hard work can be substituted by flim-flam. If he doesn't sort himself out, Gavin is going to get knocked on his wallet, and quickly. That's one big talent in serious danger of going to waste.

Re: GREAT NIGHTS BOXING!
I scored it for Gavin, but only 115-114; thought 117-113 or whatever it was, was too wide. Could see how someone might have favoured Woodhouse, whose punches looked much more damaging, when he landed them. Don't know if he can do it, but would prefer to see Frankie at 140 - he doesn't look substantial enough at this weight.

Are you there Captain? I didn't think it was shown?
I agree, even at 140 he doesn't have much physicality, or much of a punch.

I am, scott, First show in ages, eleventh hour ticket's, quick flight and I got a pink ticket. Atmosphere so far not quite what I expected, a bit subdued. Kept going on 606 v2 during Bellew fight - boith men v. average, by the way.

Good grief is there no checks prior to a fighter getting in the ring?
How on earth did Cook's back hold up to get through training?

So much for great nights boxing...
This card certainly not living up to the hype. Still Mitchell-Murray to go though!

All we need is a boring fight to finish now and we're sorted.

Re: GREAT NIGHTS BOXING!
well i may as well quit Unions league now. Two bangers trawl out a dull 12 rounder, two feather-fisters produce an embarrassing (sad, in fact) 1st round TKO win and a world amateur champ scrapes to a SD over a footballer.

Heard the Gavin fight wasn't too good either.
Glad it's not PPV!

What a performance by Mitchell. I had him infront but I thought murray was getting more and more into it.
Mitchell vs rios/katsidis next. Can't wait, hopefully he will be even sharper and more focused. That ring said, rios beats Kevin but I think Kevin can beat katsidis

Cook made his back trouble public knowledge on Friday. I still don't know how he was allowed to fight, he surely had to cut corners in training.

Will be interesting to see if cook gets his pay suspended due to his back. Surly doesn't deserve a penny knowing how bad his back was.
