Good question, don't think I've ever seen a live fight on TV from Argetina

BN starts at 2:30 so I'll assume that 4:30 start like the American cards

Good read, nice one hampo. Not much faith flying around for Audley or Zab, understandably so! Think Garcia may take longer to put him away though.

Zab is a 4 round fighter and if he can't seriously hurt Danny or discourage him in those 4 rounds than you'd imagine he will get walked down eventually

He couldn't pull the trigger against Lucas over 2 years ago and has since bottled it against Khan, don't think he will have an appetite for it when he feels a couple of Garcia's shots

Hope that helps!

Preview and Predictions for this weekend Empty ANOTHER Great Week in Boxing

Post by davidemore Fri 26 Apr 2013, 9:42 am

Got be honest, Boxing is rocking at the minute!

Yet again we have another great weekend of fights. Danny Garcia vs Zab Mental. King Chin vs Diaz and a very good, arguably more exciting under card. Who else? Oh yeah, MARTIN MURRAY BABY!

Garcia by KO inside 8.

Chinny by TKO inside 12.

Murray by TKO inside 12.

Oh baby.

Predictions?

Boxing is hot right now.

Post by Valero's Conscience Fri 26 Apr 2013, 10:56 am

I looked at Wilder's record and he's never gone beyond 4 rounds.

If Audley can be evasive (which i'm sure he'll try) there is a chance Wilder could tire.

He should try training with the SAS ... be the grey man! i.e. the one that doesn't stand out and is ignored by the hijackers etc. He can then wait for his moment in which to pounce when Wilder is distracted looking for a real opponent.

Ha ha, I predict Harrison will just stick his jab out everytime Wilder gets close with a petrified look on his face and always stepping back!

'If' he wins, the talk will be unbearable. Saying that if he wins I reckon he'll get a title shot easier than Fury or Price as Wlad would could get a very easy payday and use it as a keep busy fight.

Audley has to win just to see Eddie's face..."Oh balls, he's only gone and done it. I gotta get him a title shot now"

Still, bot as bad as this conversation...

Bernte Boente - "Audley Harrison just beat Deontay Wilder"

Wlad/Vit - "Who?"

BB - "Deontay Wilder, the US rising star/sensation (massive hype job)"

Wlad/Vit - "No, who is the first guy you were talking about?"

BB - "Audley Harrison, he won an Olympic Gold medal"

W/V - "When"

BB - "In 2000 in Sydney"

W/V - "Why haven't we heard of him? Was he kidnapped?"

BB - "No, he lost to Micahel Sprott and Martin Rogan...and David Haye"

Wlad - "The guy with the toe?"

BB - "The very same...he also lost to David Price."

W/V - "Who?"

BB - "The guy who got beat by Tony Thompson"

W/V - "Who?"

BB - "Tony Thompson, the guy Wlad beat twice."

W/V - Hang on a minute, this Audley guy lost to Michael Sprott, Martin Rogan and David Haye who Wlad already beat, then he lost to David Price who lost to Tony Thompson who Wlad beat twice?"

BB - "Yup"

W/V - " "Why are you telling us this?"

BB - "Cos he's now your mandatory"

W/V - Good luck selling THAT one to the public"

BB - "I know...wonder if Adam Booth is accepting my calls these days...."

Audley v K2 would sell here. Massive PPV event. The novelty value will be huge plus Audley can sell fridges to eskimos.

The ONLY reason Audley v K2 should be made is that it would finally send TRUSS into a meltdown he would never recover from.

Preview and Predictions for this weekend Empty If You Are A Betting Man...

Post by davidemore Fri 26 Apr 2013, 7:22 pm

Then listen up.

Because I am the predictor. You dig?

I got Rigo in the bank, I got Canelo in the bank. I'm the man who sees how it's all going to unfold. A visionary.

So, I create this thread as an opportunity for you all to ask me to predict fights. I will then give you an answer that will be correct.

To show you, here are some predictions for upcoming scraps. The winners are the ones mentioned to the right of the colon.

Murray vs Martinez: Murray inside 12 TKO
A-Force vs Bomb Squad: Bomb Squad by brutal KO
Chinny vs Past It: Chinny by TKO inside 11
Oggogo vs Who?: Oggogo by TKO
Baby Chinny vs Who?: Baby chinny by UD
Froch vs Kessler: Froch by KO
Alexander vs Purdy: Alexander by KO
Bellew vs Chilemba: Bellew by UD
Drone Vlad vs Italian Stallion: Drone Vlad by TKO
Mayweather vs The Ghost: Mayweather by close UD
De Leon vs Mares: Mares by TKO
Santa Cruze vs Who?: Santa Cruz by UD

Anymore?

It's not exactly that much of an acomplishment though is it, Rigo was tipped by several in the boxing community and Canelo was the favourite, and didnt you have Rigo by KO so technically you were wrong. You don't win money picking a 2-0 home win when it was in fact a 2-1 home win

Preview and Predictions for this weekend Empty Fight Thread For This Weekends Action: Khan, Murray, A-Force...

Post by davidemore Sat 27 Apr 2013, 3:03 pm

Another, yes another classic boxing weekend has come around, woo hoo!

And who would deny that they'll be talking points?

For one, Martinez is about to get beat! And Blighty is about to birth another CHAMP!

Also, A-Force is back... but for how long? I pray for you A-Force.

Chinny returns to be potentially chinned by the durable Diaz.

It's all kicking off, whose with me all night? heart

Me too Makaveli and Co.

I want A-Force to win so badly but fear for him so much. When he fights with belief his chin is out there, and I fear for him. I have visions of an Ambo and bright lights. Let's hope I am wrong. No, let's pray.

Side note: Bomb Squad, can't see that nickname catching on in America, can you?

Haha! Evening Emore!

I'll be here until the end of the card at the motor point at which point I'll go sleepy.

Will be up very early to watch Murray vs Martinez which should be good.

Let's get this party started:

Wilder gets knocked out early
Khan Knocks out Diaz
Ogogo looks sensational

All of the above will be done by 2300.

Thought?

Yeah, come on A-Force, you can do it!!! In all seriousness, I think he might be able to. If he can land that left and avoid being hit, who knows how well Wilder can take a shot?? Audley hits hard enough to hurt him. It's his destiny.... Cool
