Bigger club = More money
Smaller club = Less money

You may have been asked £11m because they know you are a big club and have the money, wheras Stoke are a smaller club and have less money.

An to be fair it ain't easy to run foreigns.

AND MARVIN MARTIN AND ANDRE AYEW
2M 4 MARVIN MARTIN

Martin - following his debut for France this week, his stock is high and it needs a lot more.

by PINEAPPLEHEAD on Thu Jun 09, 2011 4:44 pm
I WILL PAY 4M FOR MARTIN THEN

by nick_fury on Thu Jun 09, 2011 4:46 pm
£4 for MARTIN lol's.

Can I step in and out bid??

by PINEAPPLEHEAD on Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:43 am
MARVEUX AN 2M 4 MARTIN

by BigFellasAfro on Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:47 am
Sochaux do not need a left winger and rate Martin significantly higher than Marveaux anyway. (sorry, but we are very strict on part-ex's and reject unless it makes complete sense).

by PINEAPPLEHEAD on Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:51 am
5M 4 HIM

by BigFellasAfro on Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:52 am
I'll he honest, you are still quite a way off. If you get close to the price I am thinking I will let you know.

I will also check with Smarts that I am not overpricing him. Smarts - check your PMs.

by PINEAPPLEHEAD on Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:01 pm
HOW MUCH IS HWE WORTH!!!

by BigFellasAfro on Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:07 pm
Sochaux would deal at £7m

by BigFellasAfro on Wed Jul 13, 2011 4:21 pm
Marvin martin might be a much better shout Viva.

I think there was a previous bid which was negotiated and accepted, but the club never went through with it (Liverpool I think?)

Thats all I got, so I may of been wrong or it may of just been talk but not a proper offer as such

It is not easy to remember all deals, but Smarts is open to being given links/info on previous offers.

He does a good job and is as consistent as anyone else could have been (probably better in fact). The fact that he is open to being given these links etc helps him be more consistent.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't improve TPs if we can.

No.

I have had a look for Nick's offer for Martin and it doesn't exist. Liverpool offered and were quoted £9m and Nick was contemplating countering, but didn't.

I would sit tight for the moment

He is mainly an AM and was brilliant there on his France debut. He has also played CM and RW, but is a bit lightweight for CM IMO

Nick - did you find any link.

I could only find the £9m quote to MrPotatoHead.

And Viva - I regularly have trouble sleeping so watch a lot of sport in the early hours. I do also sometimes have a blur between what I have watched and what I dreamt (did you realise that Messi is signing for Everton?)

What people's thoughts on the Navas deal?

Previously rejected, not for value, but that he would never leave Spain. So the issue was never with the amount offered to Sevilla, but with the player himself.

Di Natale is a good striker, but I am less convinced by him being used anywhere else.

Scores a lot of goals (IRL and in this league) when played centrally.

So I rate him around the same as I rate MelonHeads, not very highly.

Before the police get labelled racist, they were stopping Black guys and searching them. However, someone had been stabbed and the victims family (also black) had reported that they guy who did was a young black man. Therefore, the police were requested to stop and search young black men to find the knife and stop someone else getting stabbed.

MelonHead says he'll be a bit too busy to come on today.

His "wholesaler" has come up trumps and supplied with a bulk load of iPhones which he needs to find buyers for. Who said the economy is in recession!!

Also, did you say they were looting MacDonalds??!? So some break into Armani etc, and then the fat kids are going for the Big Macs!

Afro I was on about Birmingham where they did the searching, even though there was Asian and White lads looting. I'm not calling the Police racist, infact I support the Police they need to be allowed to use more force in these situation but I don't understand why they didn't stop White or Asian people.

and the fat dude, he was the one hiding the loot up his top yeah thinking no one would notice.

Yeah him, made me laugh don't think he was part of the riots but seen the oppurtunity and thought why not. It probably carry on today, it's stupid no one cares about the guy who died.

I heard MelonHead has taken over North area of Bullring apparently the shops on that side sell Cream jumpers.

I wasn't directing it at you Viva. Sorry for giving that impression.

Fact is the police only do stop and searches when they have been given a direct report of something to look and specific information relating to the search. Therefore, they will have been given some specific information which means that they do not need to search white or asian men
