going for jks japan team who must have done sonething right to win the pacific cup.
Aus i think will be beaten by a new look bok side.
Theyve done some homework and have lasse faire approach to this 3N.
Theyre fresh and are at home. Theyve seen the samoa ab smash em approaches and looking at the oz team they bring nothing new to the table.
Plus oz have to regroup after the ab match.
Convinced SA are up for a big one here.

Weren't Japan a bit lucky to win the pacific cup. They won on points difference ahead of tonga who had a couple of players sent off in their match. They did beat Samoa at home though. I wonder though was it a full strength Samoa team? In any case Italy should beat them at home.
Boks by three (very interesting game for Irish fans)
England by seven
Ireland by six

This afternoon Leinsterbaby.
But from the talk it will be the first choice squad except for Schalk Burger with a broken thumb.
Many would argue Heinrich Brussouw is better.

Thats certainly what I was expecting alright. I personally prefer Brussouw but they are both good. Burger is probably more physical Brussouw perhaps better at stealing ball.
The Irish management I'm sure will watch this game quite closely.

Re: Predictions for the weekend?
The only prediction I'm sure of for this weekend is that security will be tight at retail parks...
I hope England name a strong side and can continue their winning form against Wales - don't expect a big margin though.
Italy to beat Japan reasonably comfortably (10+)
Australia to steal anaway win (3-7 points)
France by 20 or Ireland by 10 (the Lievremont factor)
No idea re Canada v USA

Re: Predictions for the weekend?
A lot of people seem to think Canada will beat the US. I think the home team always wins that fixture so USA by about 7 for me. Italy should beat Japan comfortably enough but the rest either team could feasibly win really.
Wales vs england in Cardiff - Wales by 6
Italy vs Japan in Trieste - Italy by 16
SA vs OZ in durban - SA by 3
France vs Ireland in Bordeaux - France by 10 - I might change that once I see Ireland's team though.

England should beat Wales
Italy are a far superior team to Japan despite the pislands cup.
SA should win
France because Ireland only try against England and SA
No-one cares about USA Canada

Squillion - squid
Squid are cephalopods of the order Teuthida, which comprises around 300 species
It has 8 arms and 2 tentacles.
so I guess you are trying to say Oz by 2 to 8 points.
I hope not!

Adjective: squillion skwi-lee-un
Very large indeterminate number
"a squillion people were there";
- zillion, gazillion, bazillion [N. Amer]
Noun: squillion skwi-lee-un
A very large indefinite number (usually hyperbole)
"there were squillions of flies";

Now thinking that way is simply just unacceptable.
Shame on you for even thinking in that direction.

Nah, i am a simple man, and normally the win will suffice.
Allthough i must say Squillions sounds more like something I would like to eat with a little chilli, garlic and ginger marinade, than count too.

i dont know about the other games but i reckon wales are going to lose by as much as 18 points.
wales have a weak front row. an inexperienced back row. mike phillips at 9. and hook being wasted at 15, AGAIN!!!!!!
shambolic. we are going to get a hiding.

I thought I made it clear we WILL NOT be wearing black.
It's green, lushious, deep green.

Re: Predictions for the weekend?
You realized the reason the wallabys doesn't wear green and gold, which is known as world wide as aussie sporting colours , as worn by the league and cricket side, was that rugby used to tour in maroon or more often the pastel blue of the cockroaches. By the time the union decided to get their act together and play as a national side your lot had the green top!

Re: Predictions for the weekend?
I reckon England by 5-8 points. (Just don't think Wales are building up right and it feels like that is something just wrong about their preparations).
South Africa by 3-7 points. Stronger team and at home is a whole different story.
France v Ireland - I'm going for a draw, first run out for France vs an Ireland team more progressed on their warmup but the game in Bordeaux all evening out (watch me be off by 8 points!).
Canada to beat USA by 3 points.
