2 wins and I think I'm in the semi's.

Confident I can make it 3 wins out of 3 against Deccan and then nick a result in week 9 against RCB.

I'd have thought 11 points would certainly be enough to make the semis, 10 might leave it a bit tight. What's the tie-breaker?

i have to win all of my remaning games and hope results go my way...

im confident of winning all my games, cos i played mumbai, chennai, and kkr early so played all the best teams already, so i think i can win all my games..

but im planning my side for the next edition already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hypothetical question, what happens if there's a 3-way rock-paper-scissors tie. Do we count votes received?

I always thought we should perhaps have a vote difference, i.e goal difference.

(I saw the talk around an EPL version, but I don't feel I know enough about English domestic cricketers to be in that one). The IPL's been fun though.

oooh mumbai need a couple of wins, i thought they would have been 2nd.

its very, very close at the top guys.

Table updated, its getting properly close now for the last two semi final places.

Chennai are now through, Delhi are unless they lose both matches or results go against them (E.g. 8-0 loss to CSK would put them right back into danger)

Deccan can not qualify for the semi's, RCB need a miracle. Kochi and the Royals (who finally got their first win of the tournament!) can both still make the semi's (just).

Kolkata realistically need to win both of their last two games and hope results go their way as well

Hmm yeah looking at that CSK and DD will go through, with Mumbai, Punjab and Pune battling it out for the last two spots. Looks like Punjab vs Pune could well be the crucial match.

Chennai are through to the semis

Delhi (Playing RCB):
- Win: If Delhi win they are through to the semis
- Draw: If Delhi draw they are through providing one of Mumbai, Punjab or Pune fail to win
- Lose: If Delhi lose they are through if one of Mumbai, Punjab or Pune fail to win and there is not a huge turnaround in vote difference between themselves and Kolkata

Mumbai: (Playing CSK)
- Win: If Mumbai win they are through
- Draw: If Mumbai draw they are through if one of Punjab, Delhi or Pune fail to win
- Lose: If Mumbai lose they are through if one of Punjab or Pune fail to win and Kolkata do not turnaround the vote difference between the two sides

Pune: (Playing KKR)
- Win: If Pune win then they are through if Mumbai lose. Pune are also through with a win providing they beat Punjabs win margin.
- Draw: If Pune draw they are through if Mumbai lose heavily. Pune are also through with a draw if Punjab fail to win.
- Lose: If Pune lose they cannot qualify for the Semi Finals

Punjab: (Playing KT)
- Win: If Punjab win they are through if Mumbai lose. They are also through with a win if Mumbai draw and Punjab win by a large margin. A win would also see Punjab go through if Pune fail to win.
- Draw: If Punjab draw they are through providing Pune lose and not by a large enough margin for Kolkata to overtake Punjab on vote difference.
- Lose: If Punjab lose they cannot qualify for the Semi Finals

Kolkata: (Playing PW)
- Win: If Kolkata win they are through to the semi finals if Punjab lose. They are also through with a win if Punjab draw and Kolkata win by 5 votes or more
- Draw: If Kokata draw they cannot qualify for the Semi Finals
- Lose: If Kolkata lose they cannot qualify for the Semi Finals

Bangalore, Kochi, Rajasthan and Deccan are all just playing for pride and to make the last week very tense for the top sides!
