Changed it MFC, I've been in the lab all day (AGAIN!) so apparently cannot add 2 to 8 and work out that 10 is more that 9!

mumbai in real danger, one would say that they have to win against CHENNAI!, because u dont ever wanna rely on other results.

I think Mumbai can beat Chennai.They have a stronger batting line up and a far better pace attack.Its only in the spin department that Chennai hold the aces.But then,on a spinning track,you dont wanna be facing Harby either.
Gonna be the match of the tournament.Cant wait.

My pace bowlers aren't bad actually. Nannes and Southee are rather handy, though admittedly not as good as Gul and Malinga. However, my batting is capable of dealing with those pair. Hussey and Dhoni in particular get rolled over by nobody.

Should prove an interesting game.

What's the betting Gregers serves up a seaming pace bowlers paradise? Wink

You forgot Raina, Bravo, Afridi... All tremendous T20 batsmen.

Hussey and Dhoni both failed in some of my recent games actually Sad

But Vijay led the charge in their place! About time!! Haha, I think Vijay and Badrinath have been 'blown away' in just about every game thus far Wink

Pace isn't the worry.

In T20 pace bowlers are much more expensive than spinners historically. Pace on the ball = boundaries.

Remember, Gul and Malinga can only bowl 8 overs, there are 12 others Wink

Go for it, Gul and Malinga aren't really seamers, they're more yorker bowlers...Nannes and Southee are real seamers, and would be more dangerous.

I actually think Gul is over-rated, though he is obviously a good death bowler. In general his bowling is pretty poor though and I've seen him get clobbered by the world class batsmen he has faced.

Malinga is a different kettle of fish, and extremely talented bowler who can cause anybody problems.

Malinga is undoubtedly better than Gul but the two in tandem at the death would be a daunting situation.

My way of winning might be through medium pacers: Sammy, Pollard et al
