The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the David Pocock photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

He should stop the clock because it was eating into the yellow card time.
If a prop is yellow carded and a replacement needs to come on then the clock should stop.
If they don't stop the clock then sides will just waste as much time as possible

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
There are other ways to deal with timewasting if its occurring though. The clock isn't usually stopped for subs I thought?

I thought it was Notch, but I don't usually pay the clock that close attention. I'd have assumed it was though.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Or maybe now I think about it, subs usually occur when there's a break in play anyway, so the clock would usually be stopped I guess.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
But having to bring a prop on to replace one that's been put in the bin is not a substitution.
The clock should be stopped to ensure that the offending prop spends the full 10 min in the bin.
From the ref blowing for a scrum and the replacement prop getting on the field a full minute was used.

Evening all
Am watching the Bulls vs. Sharks game from earlier, and how Werner Kruger got near a Springbok jersey is beyond me. His scrummaging makes Tony Buckley look like a world beater.

Wonderful victory, dreamer;Cotter said there would be problems if we lost by 40, but starting without 14 internationals and 5 injured, plus 12 academy lads on the sheet, a win was only a dream.Fofana and the back row(Bardy,Vosoloo,Elvis, Lapandry) were outstanding.
I shall sleep better tonight.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Home Cymro, I'm due a new one, the one I've got now is about 4 season's old and I really like this new one. Was thinking about asking for the away one for Nadolig but reckon I'll ask for the Welsh one then instead. Haven't had a new one of those for 6 seasons now.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
plus SU Agen beat rivals Brive away last weekend. You must be as happy as un cochon in Poopie.
Nice news on Loupa btw.
ALLEZ!!!
After digesting our match, Robinson was a controlled head amongst the mayhem, he really does fit in at Wasps. Castex has to start ahead of Payne. We shafted Sarries line out - take a bow Joe Launchberry. We miss Simpson big time. Our scrum was rubbish (see Payne comment).
Having said all that, Sarries were hugely disappointing considering they are champions.

Sion Corn is going to bring me the away one. I support all the regions but I only buy a new shirt every couple of seasons.
If and when we do get a North Wales region then obviously my full support will go towards my local side.

Notch - he's only my second fave!
Cymro - I could indeed put my username (can have up to 15 characters), but would much prefer to have my fave players name on it instead.
And I should be going to the boxing day match with my Dad and brawd so maybe see you there

Cheers dreamer.
Just texted Asbo to say Rob Baxter should bollok his players for not getting a bonus point try
Seeing a fan in a tiggers shirt on leaving Twickenham I started up the Chiefs' 'tomahawk chop' chant. My bad

So Munster swatted away those Dragons despite picking up 3 yellow cards along the way. Hard luck Rev, hope that Risca won.

It was 3-1 in yellows at least. Yes both Risca sides won. I played for the 2's and scored.
Tom Riley is dump. I'd have rathered Martyn Thomas on the wing and Adam Hughes centre all along anyway.
Going to be a long season.

So far I'm 100% in sports guru this week and with only Scarlets at home to Aroni left. I have scarlets as my pick, I should stay at 100%. I wonder what odds of have gotten in Paddys for the 6 results???

I see from the match report that TOL didn't figure in the Munster match. Injured, depressed or other?

Bore da pawb/Good morning all.
Nice one on the win Rev
And I agree with you about Riley.
Getting nervous about today's game now, it's weird but I've actually really missed this feeling.

It's because he's in the SAS breaker, its very hard to commit to a team when you can be whipped off at any single moment
