The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly crowned IRB World Player of the year Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Yeeeee haaaa.
Copious amounts of alcohol will be consumed tonight so I apologise in advance if I stroll in here later and offend anyone by taking my clothes off.
Wooooooo hoooooo.
Pro 12? Who cares. HC is where it's at.

Be huge Mrs Penfro. Its rare that Munster are under pressure to win at home in the HC. Saints will have learned a lot from last year.
Cant call it.
Bring it on. Love this Cup.

Hi Gibbo,
Mr and MasterP just back form Ravenhill. They were a little bit late for the game because we were all down in Dublin watching the wee fella play earlier. when they arrived their seats were taken. They shuffled along the row to ask the folks there for them back please. Guess who was sitting in MrP's seat?

Great start, well turned over Ronan. He comes in for a lot of stick but did great there. MrsP, I'm going to guess Mary McAleese and I don't know why.

Yeah WillyG. He has sat there before. Well, in the seats beside ours, not our actual seats. The wee lad had a picture taken with him there when he just arrived. Really lovely guy.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Am seeking refuge in here, it is all doom and gloom over on the London Irish fans forum.
The way I see it is that if we can raise our game and go out and win on Friday at the CCS then the pool is wide open again... all still to play for. It appears to be a view not shared by many of my fellow London Irish supporters!

Nah I flew down the motorway last night for my escapades in town. I take it the hillhall road was closed for rain. That whole area is just a giant sponge.

I have to say I was surprised by the quality of some of Edinburghs play. They are clearly a better side than I had given them credit for.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Yeah it was badly flooded in parts. We got down but I suspect it would have been closed if the DOE had been able to get to it! Still flooded when we came back mid afternoon today even though the rain stopped before we drove through it last night!
Thought we were going to need a paddle!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Bradley seems to be doing them some good Pete. They do like to play with ball in hand.
Also, as you say, an Irish win at the CCS and its all on again. Long way to go yet. That Pool is wide open. Blues started well away, but... any of those teams can beat each other home or away.

Knock on in the build up but I don't care. England's no.1 fullback getting skinned by a 33 year old doesn't make for good viewing. But it is Doug Howlett. Munsters greatest ever foreign signing?

Lucky Munster there. A knock on and blocking leading up to that try.

They looked at their best going through the phases, as opposed to when implementing a kicking game, which often went slightly awry. Some good youngsters coming along there as well.
Was impressed with Rennie. Is he above Barclay in the Scotland pecking order now As?

Pete, they are - the 9-10-12 combo is only 3 games old and I thought came of age today. Ross Ford led by example for me and young Gilchrist in the second row put in a proper shiftOzzy3213 wrote:I have to say I was surprised by the quality of some of Edinburghs play.
