Very clever of Ireland to bring their own lush pitch with them.
I can feel some points coming on soon for them. Some pints too!

I have to say the referee is allowing the game to flow in some difficult conditions.

How bad are Tommy Bowes hands early on? He's better than this!
That was a wee bit better, still making heavy weather of it. Need to get the ball into Ferris' hands when we're in the 22.

I've actually hardly noticed the ref except at the scrums. Not bad going by him.

To be fair to Bowe it was an awful pass from D'arcy.

It is very slippery out there, and there's been a few knock-ons and players going on their orses. I blame the weather...

You can tell conditions are sheet. Look at the score. On a good day that would not be the score....
Gibbo, don't get excited but Quinny is really bigging up Jenno

It's just like the warm-ups; we have possession, territory but we make incredibly heavy weather putting points on the board. We just huff and puff and struggle to score.

At least there's a bit of balance with there bein a non Irish commentator with him Hammer
It'll come for Ireland, no need to panic at all.

Re: Ireland v USA - Live Match Thread & Post Match Discussion
Notch - no where near as bad as the warm ups. You're actually playing a lot better, and doing some good moves in the backs. It's only dropped balls that are troubling you and in this whether, errors like that are understandable, you guys aren't looking that bad at all.

Yeah dreamer, scrappy so far but Kidney at HT should ask them to make more of their possession... control the ball more. It will come in the 2nd half hopefully. They look most likely to score - conditions aren't helping.
