Quite a turn around Driver, from not being able to play to chasing the Oz dream. Fair play mate

The doctor said to me you can play again but one big knock to your neck and you'll be sh-it-ing in a bed pan the rest of your life. but the Oz dream was a once in a life time thing so i was pretty keen on that.

Ah right. Where in Oz?
I've played in Wagga Wagga, Melbourne and Sydney - they're pretty hot on their footy out there.

Week 6 Final Results
Unbelievably, everyone managed to get their results in. Even more amazing than Tigers nearly getting their first win at the mighty Wellington.
Biarritz 28 - 20 Sharks
Crusaders 26 - 21 Saints
Hurricanes 21 - 21 Tigers
Waratahs 26 - 28 Toulouse

Anyone about for deal?
Also opinions on Steve Hansen as NZ coach, right choice in my mind. But I know quite a few who a bit apprehensive and worried that the All Blacks could go on the slide.

Re: WRL Season 5 - Homepage
Alreet fellas....
I know a few of you are on the waiting list for the AP game and I was considering doing a "reset" version of that structure to allow people to mould teams and others to get involved. It would hopefully be a bit more long term with building a side over the seasons rather than a blitz and fixtures would mirror the current AP & HC.
I'm just canvassing atm, anybody interested? So far....
Bath - Bathite?
Saracens - Luke
Leicester - Pooly
Sale - Steve
Saints - Johnny
Gloucester - Prop?
Newcastle
Worcester
Exeter - Prop?
Irish - Pull
Wasps
Harlequins - Driver

Shame that all the top teams have gone. I might be interested, but the thought of taking Bath sickens me after the last 3 games!

Re: WRL Season 5 - Homepage
I think taking on a team you have a little affiliation with always helps as you can spot youngsters etc.
It's very much a building game Bathite, there's no constant foreign transfers and you can bid on championship players and so on.
I'd have to have a sit down and work out budgets and stuff, I think they got 100m each when it first started but that obviously wouldn't work now.
They'd also be a English requirement in match day squads.

Re: WRL Season 5 - Homepage
Pull do you fancy Wasps instead of Irish, more chance of filling the league. Or Worcester/Falcons?
Falcons gets first pick of English (Wilko/Haskell) and bigger budget
