Wales v Fiji Thread etc etc
First topic message reminder :
OK so we are now down to the last group game and a win would hopefully see us into the Quarters, by the time we play then SA would have played Samoa and we will know what result we nee.
We have now seen all the 30 man squad have a run out so what would be your starting 22 for Fiji. Heres mine:
P James (given Jenkins time off the bench)
H Bennett
A Jones
AWJ
L Charteris
R Jones (Rest Lydiate until quarters)
T Faletau
S Warburton
M Phillips
R Priestland
S Williams (if fit Brew if not)
J Roberts
J Davies (but would like to see Sc Williams and Roberts get some gametime)
G North
L Halfpenny
Jenkins, Burns, Davies, Powell, S Jones, L Wiiliams (Knoyle disappointed today), Sc Williams

One thing is for certain wales looks a lot better on attack than Ireland has.

god I hope his head is alright, blimey could you imagine if 1/2p wasn't wearing a scrum cap?! that could have been much worse. He's got to comeo f fthough surely, could have fractured his eye socket or something.
I think Jamie Roberts is 24, possibly 25.

If the ref blew for every infringement rugby would not be worth watching.

I wish the fans wouldn't sing Delilah. I really dislike that song...
Anyhoo...advantage Fiji...and they fluff the pass, but Wales are offside so Fiji get the penalty.

You're right there...it would be a very stuttering game.

Marshall is having a fit now about the game carrying on whilst the injured player looks seriously injured.

I'd agree with him. Any sort of head injury and you've got to stop play straight away imo.

Dr Roberts should come off now, his shoulder's giving him jip. There's no need for him to be worn down.
That's another worry for me coming up to the QFs...injuries.

Cari - me too I never did before! must be the rwc jersey.....
I am worried about Jamie's shoudler, in the replay when they show him getting injured, it just looks like something went ping. Really hope he's okay.

Like the commentators are saying, it isn't the ones they are pinged for, it is the ones they are getting away with.

Stevo passes to Geth, who sends a kick upfield and 1/2p scores! that was brilliant

Well if i'd had the perfect dream it would involved a hot blonde, red head and burnette and a lot of chocolate sauce, but my second choice would of been to see Wales play like this. This is fantastic

I am not only talking about this match, yes Fiji has lost it mojo, but you need to give credit to the way Wales is breaking the line and creating the gaps.
