Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
First topic message reminder :
The Foreign Transfer Window will be open at the following times:
Pre Season - Week 2
Closed Week 3 & 4
Week 5 - Week 7
Closed Week 8 & 9
Week 10 - End of Season
Transfer Pendings will be open Monday to Friday with a cut off time of 15:00. This is to ensure we can respond to offers.
Any Offers after that time will count towards the followings days TP's.
You are allowed 2 TP's per day
Replies and Negotiations will take place on this page soon after 3pm
ALL TP's must be in the following format:
TP: (i.e. the number of the TP from you daily allowance, 1,2 or 3)
Player: (i.e. Rooney aka the best striker in the Europe)
Team: (i.e. Manchester United aka Champ19ns)
Offer: (i.e. £35M)
Reason: (i.e. reason they would join)
TPs not in the correct format or outside the window will be ignored.
You cannot make a bid unless you already have the cash to complete the deal you must have the funds already, or have guaranteed funds arriving, to be able to finance the deal. (i.e. you cannot bid and then after bidding try to raise the funds by offering your players for sale).
How your bid will be assessed.
There will be a Committee of 3/4 managers who oversee transfers.
This will be built up of one manager from each league (in order to stamp out any bias).
Transfers must be registered on a Transfer Pending page in the format above. Each member of the committee will either state if they are For or Against the transfer. For the transfer to be successful it must have the majority of committee members IN FAVOUR of the transfer.
Committee members will NOT have to state any reason to a manager as to why an offer has been accepted or rejected, just a yes or no on the pending deal. Committee members can do so if they wish.
Please remember a Transfer does not reply upon one member, so try not to shout/argue with a committee members over a transfer because for all you know they could of voted yes for you.
TPs will not be answered until after the window has closed. If a manager wishes to counter another managers offer, then he must do so the same day and before the window closes. For any enquiries after the window closes will be considered as the following days so be careful as you could end up wasting enquires. Order of the enquiries is the order they will be answered but the highest bidders offer will most likely be successful, if both bids are accepted then it will be considered from the players point of view as where they are most likely to want to play. If all enquiries are unsuccessful, then the player will stay at his current club and can be enquired about again in the following window.
Please Take Note of the following which occurs once an offer has been responded to AND accepted but not confirmed by the Buying Club:
If a figure is agreed the transfer MUST be finalised, meaning paid in full, within a resonable time (this is due to manager being online). If the funds are not available the transfer will be delayed until 5pm that day.
Up to this time any team may attempt to hijack the deal by placing an offer on the table, the committee will vote on this, once again the majority of committee members must be in favour for the deal to go through.
If the funds are raised before any other tabled bid has been received the original team will secure the player.
If no team bids and the funds are raised within the time the deal may go through.
If the funds are not raised and there are no further bids the player continues with his current club.
If another club bids and the origianal club has raised the funds before confirmation of the transfer offers will be assessed the offers but the Original bidding Club will take preferance, thus most likely to secure the transfer.
If you cannot reach an agreement with the selling club within 3 negotiations the selling club will pull out of the deal.
If your offer is accepted you have 1 hour to confirm the transfer as the player and his agent will not hang around while other clubs could be interested.
Week 9 has passed so The Foreign Transfer Window is now OPEN.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
TP: 1
Name: Fernando Torres
From: Chelsea
To: Malaga
Fee: Player Swap (Andy Carroll)
With Chelsea wanting to sell their striker and with Drogba seemingly going to the MLS, they are in now need to bid for a typical CF that suits the style of their 4-3-3 formation, and the style of player Torres NEVER was. Torres on the other hand needs time to resurrect his form and confidence, and yearns in becoming the big fish in a small pond again where he would be lavished with every need in his native country. Step forward Malaga to help both parties. Torres would be a definite starter in the Malaga frontline and Chelsea will get a young CF that in the future they will easily recoup the 50Million they paid for Torres.
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/08/29/malaga-plan-shock-20m-bid-for-chelsea-flop-fernando-torres/.
They would be more likely to do a player swap as 20million won't let them get a top class replacement.
Also there have been rumours that Rafa Benitez may go back to the place where he was born and manager the up-and-coming team. Torres' finest hour was in the Liverpool team managed by his mentor.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Wednesday tp 1/2
Player - Sebastian Giovinco
Club - Parma
Bid - £12m
Reason - We see Sebastian as a natural addition to our midfield and his football suits our style of play. Whilst Parma finished mid table last season, we have won our league and guarantee him champions league football which will put him on the biggest stage of all to get him noticed by the Italian Manager to keep him in contention for a place in the Italy squad for the Euro finals next year.

Lyon (Wed 14th/12/2011)
TP2
Name: Samir Handanović
From: Udinese
To: Lyon
Fee: £12m (funds provided through Lawyers)
Reason: http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/united-pondered-de-gea-alternative-switch---report
Manchester United and Bayern WERE interested in the summer but opted for other options. Since then no other teams have showen interest in this talented keeper. He is still expected to leave Udinese so we have offered the price believed to be his value for his quality.
We can offer Samir first team opportunities, the number 1 shirt for all league and european matches when fit. He can showcare his talents to the world at a higher standard of football with the Furious League being very very competative.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Wednesday TP 2/2 (funds coming from Lawyers, and sale of Nolito)
Player - Benoît Trémoulinas
Club - Bordeaux
Bid - £12m
Reason - Benoit needs to be playing for a top club with competition for the French LB role very competitive for the Euro finals next year. At Benfica he will be playing in the champions league to elevate his status at a top club. He will start every game whilst fit and will be our first choice LB. With the French connection of Gourcuff & Griezmann on the left side of our midfield, he will slot in perfectly and link up play well.

Liverpool TP1
Kevin Großkreutz
Now we re in europe and can attract bigger stars, he would join as a starter as we look for a winger to compliment Gervinho on the other side, with Suarez and Huntelaar we would have a prolific quartet in the ttacking areas...
£16.0m
TP2
José María Callejón
Real Madrid
He would start which he is not at Madrid, just a bit part player since his move in May, he cost tem a reported £5.5m so a fee of £8.0 is what we offer them and he would start and we are also in Europe

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Wednesday TP 1/2 (try again!!!)
Player - Willian Borges da Silva
Club - Shakhtar Donetsk
Bid - £25m
Reason - We previously bid for Willian earlier in the season, but lacked funds. Now we come back in a better position as we can now also offer Willian champions league football. He will start every game whilst fit and help take us to the next level in Champions League glory.
We have several of his Brazilian team mates at Benfica (Nilmar, Luisão, Dedé, Cesar, Artur) so he will feel more at home with us.

Dzsudzsak - the finest Hungarian since Zoltan Gera.
Seriously though, he does look quality and I would have been tempted in the past had he not only just joined them this year

TP 1/2
Karim Benzema
43m
Real Madrid
Arsenal are known to be long term admirers ever since he's days at Lyon of the striker and has repeatedly been linked with a move to the emirates in the last few weeks as Mourinho has been quoted of not being too keen on either of Karim or Higuain and has been looking for replacements. We would like to bring him to the club to replace the out going Van Persie , We feel he'd suit our style very well as it's set up for a natural finisher.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2073446/Arsenal-eye-Real-Madrid-striker-Karim-Benzema.html
TP2/2
Edinson Cavani
40m
Napoli
Us at arsenal are very interested in Cavani as a replacement for the out going Van Persie, We feel he would suit our style of play as he would give us and ariel presence in the box as well as having a quick turn of pace. Edinson would be 1st choice forward and would benefit from playing with class players such as Modric and Hazard. We feel he'd be excited by this opportunity to play at a established club as Arsenal. although he would be sad to leave Napoli he would be furthing he's career and would put himself in the shop window of bigger clubs if he could do it at a higher level of football.

Benfca Thursday TP 1/2
Player - Gary Hooper
Club - Celtic
Bid - £10m
Reason - Gary is a top striker and we want to give him a once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase his talents and play for a top champions league club with the likes of Nilmar, Krasic, Willian & co. Both QPR & Newcastle are preparing January bids for Gary in the region of £7m, but we can offer Gary a much more prosperous career in the champions league and as winners of our league. We are also offering more than the rumoured bids.

André Ayew - Marseille
He would fill the left wing position, a player we are in desperate need of to complete the 1st team. He and Gervinho would add a new dimension of attack and having two natural wingers in the team would push us forward and give us a new direction..

TP 1
Name: Carlos Tevez
From: Man City
To: Porto
Fee: £32m
Reason: Tevez wants out of the club, the club want shut of him, that's a given.
Tevez wants to be closer to his family, Porto is the closest European club to S.America.
City don't want to send him on loan, Porto have the cash to buy him out right.
We offer a warm climate, half the team speak his native language, he would fit immediately in and finally find a club that he feels comfortable at.

Name: Neymar
From: Santos
To: Porto
Fee: 44m
Reason: He wished to stay at the club until next year but with the slae of Ganso he feels the club have gone back on their word. At Porto we have his teammate Danilo already settled and he could form an electric partneship with his fellow Brazilian Hulk. The stories of Real Madrid coming in for him have dragged on too long yet they've never come in with a bid, we wish to show our intentions to win the Champions League with this signature.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Lyon 15/12/2011
TP1
Somen Tchoyi
From: West Brom
To: Lyon
Fee: £5m
Reason: Somen Tchoyi has put in some very promising apperences this season espcially against big club. We at Lyon feel he the the type of midfield player suited to our play. Strong and Physical who plays as a DM but acts as a playmaker. Able to play box to box he can add an extra dimension to our game.
We are offering Tchoyi the oppertunity to play for a well recognised club throughout Europe. PLay at a higher standard in the very competative Furious League and European competition which we have qualified for. He will play a big part in all competitions as mentioned before he can add an extra dimension to our play which against top team will be very very useful. Lesser games he may not play such as domestic cup but he will be involved in big matches.
We feel the fee offered is fair. West Brom make some money, its above the believed market value and reflects his preformances of late.

Player: Wilfried Zaha
To: Schalke
Fee: £2.77million now, £2million on Monday.
Reason: Zaha has shown some real promise as of late, especially the performance against Man Utd in the Carling Cup. We want to give young Zaha the chance to step up a level, compete in Europe and a top league. I can guarantee him definite starts in all Domestic Cup games, plus the chance to work alongside good players at Schalke.

First: 10/12/2011 it has been reported CEO of Bayern Munich Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has made no effort to hide his interest in "Marco Reus as an alternative - not a supplement - to the oft-injured Dutch winger."
With the fee we are offering Bayern they will have no problem landing their target as his release clause is £15m.
Robben's contract ends in 2013.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2011/12/10/2795867/bayern-munich-plan-to-sign-marco-reus-and-offload-arjen
Second: Jupp Heynckes the Bayern coach has stated we would wish to keep Robben.
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1956/europe/2011/12/15/2803758/jupp-heynckes-bayern-munich-needs-a-star-like-arjen-robben
No everyone know at Bayern Munich Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is the man who makes the decision. Always has been the powers that be never the coach.
The injuries of Robben and running down contract AND his age mean this is a great chance for Bayern to get good value on a player who is only going to depreciate. These are some of the reasons Lyon are making an offer.
Robben can be our game changer and at Lyon we will offer him every single match available. He will be the Star player in the team.
We are offering a high standard of football along with the oppertunity to play in a league he hasnt been and with the players at Lyon like Bastos, Lopez, Demba Cisse to name a few he has the chance of conquering the Furious League and adding that to his collection of League titles won.
So a quick summery:
New challange for Robben
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge get the money he requires
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also makes a maxium value on an aging player who is very injury prone.

Liverpool TP1
Iker Munain
A.Bilbao
£16.0m + £6m after 5 games (re-submitted due to Schalkes offer)
Bilbao have never reached the heights of other teams in Spain, so a move to Liverpool will allow him to showcase his talents at the highest level. He would fill the AM void and be an integaral part of our 1st team in the league and in Europe
TP2
Josip Illicic
Palermo
They paid a paltry fee for the lad and he would be keen to play in Europe again, still a position in the liverpool line up to fill and he would do so. He would regular football in a very attack minded Liverpool team

Everton
TP1
Player: David Ospina
Club: Nice
Bid: £8M (£4M now, £4M to be paid by 30/12/11 as i'm guaranteed the remaining funds from Atletico Madrid by 30/12/11)
Reason: We believe David Ospina is a future world star, aged 23 he is already Colombia's number one goalkeeper and he would slot straight into the Everton first team as our number 1 goalkeeper. We are aiming for qualification to European Football this coming season, and although Ospina would face competition for the starting spot in goal, we believe he can be the Everton number 1 for years to come.
TP2 (Only if TP1 is a No)
Player: Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Club: Borussia Monchengladbach
Bid: £8M (£4M now, £4M to be paid by 30/12/11 as i'm guaranteed the remaining funds from Atletico Madrid by 30/12/11)
Reason: Marc-Andre has been performing exceptionally in the Monchengladbach first team this season and has shone at Germany U19 level. We believe Marc-Andre has the potential to become a world beater, and we would give him the backing he requires as we make him our number 1 goalkeeper.

TP: 1
Player: Iker Muniain
Team: Atheltic Bilbao
Fee: £20million, right here, right not.
Reason: We recently had an offer refused for Muniain but I've come back with another bid (which is more than Liverpool are offering). He's a fantastic young talent, proven in La Liga. I wish to give him a chance against some quality teams and to be part of a youth movement at Schalke. He will have a guaranteed start at LM for the forseeable future in all games, not just cup games.

Ryan Bertrand
Chelsea
With so little defenders at my disposal he would come in and beef up the numbers, 3rd choice at Chelsea so a bit disheartened when a rb plays in his positon also...He would initially bcome in as back up to Alba but would play a good number of games.
Loan - £2m - with a further £3m if he hasnt made the grade by the end of OUR season.

Nathanial Clyne

A fantastic young player, been linked away from Selhurst park, would would relish the chance of becoming a Liverpool player, would learn alot from Srna and eventually make the \RB position his own, will play cups and replace Srna when injured

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
To be "taken care of" as soon as TP's open again. Early bird etc
TP:1
Player: Rory Donnelly
Team: Cliftonville
Fee:£270000
Reason: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16237980.stm
A Fee of £100000 has been agreed with Swansea. Here at Schalke, we are offering nearly triple that figure. He is a massive upcoming talent and I want to give him the chance to train with good players and play at a high level. If Cliftonville wish, I will loan him back to them for at least half of Season 2, if not more.
TP: 2
Player: Stuart Armstrong
Team: Dundee United
Fee: £500000
Reason: He's one for the future, destined for a top club. We can help train him up to be a better player and he can play alongside, and against, good players. I will loan him back to Dundee United for the whole of Season 2 (injuries permitting).

Everton
TP1
Player: Gary Cahill
Club: Bolton Wanderers
Bid: £10M
Reason: With only 6 months left on Gary's contract at Bolton Wanderers, and Bolton keen to cash in rather than lose him for nothing, Everton are offering arguably the biggest cash deal of any club after him in this transfer window, beating Chelsea's accepted bid of £7M. We need a solid world class defender in our side to fill the hole left by the departure of Kyriakos Papadopoulos, and we want Gary Cahill in an Everton shirt by the start of Season 2 of the Furious Football Association. We are pushing to gain European Football by the end of the season, and if necessary we will include a clause that if we fail to achieve our goal of European Football, we will sell Gary on to a fellow Furious League side that has achieved European Football.

Arsenal
TP1/2
Fernando Llorente
40m
Athletic Bilbao
With the departure of RVP we need a quality forward to replace him with and we have chosen Fernando as he has the skills needed to play in our formation, He's ariel presence will help up as we have two skillful wingers needing a target man upfront , The lure of european football would be difficult for him to turn down with Bilbao struggling in the league
TP2/2
Bruno Alves
Zenit
18m
With Vertonghen leaving the club we need to shore up our defence and we feel the Portuguese international would be the perfect signing, He would be perfect to play alongside Vermaelen as their both strong at different sides of the game so would complement each other well.

TP1
Player: Jamie Vardy
Club: Fleetwood Town
Bid: £1.5M
Reason: Jamie Vardy is a proven goalscorer and highly rated versatile striker at non-league level, we would give Jamie a genuine chance to perform at a high level and Jamie would be training and competing with top strikers like Andre-Pierre Gignac and Andy Carroll. The press have reported Fleetwood turning down a £900k bid from West Ham, we have offered £1.5M despite Jamie's contract expiring in the summer.
TP2
Player: Kyle McFadzean
Club: Crawley Town
Bid: £1M
Reason: Kyle McFadzean is a centre back linked with a £1M move to Bolton should Bolton sell Gary Cahill, we believe Kyle will make a great impact should he move to a top side and we want to be first in the queue, with a £1M cash offer the club should be very happy, and Kyle will get opportunities in Cup games as a minimum as he would be part of our quota of English players in the side.

Benfica TP 1/2
Player - Kaka
Club - Real Madrid
Bid - £8m loan for season 2
Reason - Several clubs have had reported interest in Kaka but nothing concrete and Real are keen to cash in. He is earning £8m per year at Real and we are offering that as a loan deal to cover his wages.
Kaka would start every game for us whilst fit, we have 9 Brazilians in our starting 11 so he would feel at home playing for us and would fit straight in. Whilst playing every game and showcasing his talents on loan in the league and in the Champions Cup, this will make him more attractive for potential suitors meaning Real Madrid will have more of a chance to sell him come the summer for the price they are looking for. We would also like the opportunity to sign Kaka after season 2 for a sum of £25m which is the current price tag Real have for him.

Player: James Tomkins
Club: West Ham
Bid: £4m
Reasoning: Clubs such as Newcastle are rumoured to be interested in the U21 International and second tier West Ham have set their asking price at £4m to prise the young want-away (see source) defender away. We believe James would suit the Italian style of play, and with an English manager and several English speakers, settling in is no problem. With impending departures, James would get game time and I personally rate him very highly. Plus it's sunny in Rome, as a southerner he won't be able to handle the Newcastle chill.

Fiorentina TP 1/2
Sime Vrsaljko
Dinamo Zagreb
£6m
We are looking for a young full back to come in and initially provide cover for De Silvestri, but also to realistically challenge him for a first team place. We offer £6m for him as this is a good sum for a Croatian club and we note that they sold Kovacic for £8m, who plays in a higher profile position and has a similar standing to Vrsaljko

Arsenal
TP 1/2
Lucas Ocampos
8.5m
River Plate
We are attempting to build a youthful squad at the emirates and we lucas would help us towards this as the talented winger is a big talent for the future and we would like to help nurture he's talents
TP2/2
Loic Remy
19m
Marseille
With the potential departure of Anelka we need a high quality player to fill the gaps in the side, Remy will help up with his adaptability by being able to play as a winger/forward. we feel that the step up in class is one he could make and would help him progress as a talent

Fiorentina 2/2
Wesley Snjeider
Inter
£25m
Inter have come out and quoted a price of €25m for Sneijder as they look to push through a sale of the unsettled player to finance a move for Lucas. The player has come out and admitted that a move could be possible, with Manchester United mooted. However, SAF has come out and said that he will not be rushed into buying which suggests that Sneijder may not be in his plans, whilst Inter themselves suggest they do not expect Man U to follow up their interest now that they have dropped out of the CL.

We offer Sneijder the chance to join a double winning side and the chance to play in the CL, and top the asking price of Inter by offering £25m

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Lyon
TP1
Wesley Sneijder
From: Inter Milan
To: Lyon
Fee: £25m + £2m signing on fee (act as a contribution to wage)
Reason:
Inter president Massimo Moratti informed Sneijder's agent, Soren Lerby, that he can go for €25 million. (Click for link)
Inter President Massimo Moratti believes the club will hear no deals from United after the English side crashed out of this year's UEFA Champions League, while admitting his club could end up selling the player, if the expected price was met, to any club. (Click for link)
Inter Milan WILL sell Wesley Sneijder to any club who will pay their £25million valuation
Granit Xhaka targeted by Manchester United as Wesley Sneijder alternative
Manchester United Want £7m Swiss Ace as Sneijder Alternative
Manchester United Transfer News: Dzagoev Cools Talks Of Premier League Move
All three of the above links show Man United are supposed to be looking at alternatives to Sneijder. Younger and cheaper will suit SAF as he has his transfer policy of not signing over 27 year olds. It was broken for Berbatov and look how that turned out. It is strongly felt he does not want a repeat of that situation, big money move, doesnt produce the goods, value depreciates massively.
Also, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists he has enough strength in his squad without having to buy this month. He has said this time and time again. If we look back at his transfer activity in the January window it is very rare for a big money signing. There maybe one or two signing like the year when Vidic and Evra were signed but one was barely known and the latter wasnt a big star. Both took there time to settle and didnt look good in the first 6 months.
So looking at the past history we can see it would be very much out of character for SAF and Manchester United to make a big money move for Wesley Sneijder especially in January.
The only other club to have a mention (like a glimmer of hope) is Man City. All that has been rumoured is Sneijder being used as bait in an attemp to land Carlos Tevez. With Tevez looking like he has nowhere to move too this is very doubltful of a swap happening.
Wesley Sneijder admits there is a chance he will leave Inter in January
Sneijder hints of leaving Inter Milan
Even Sneijder himself has addmitted he may leave in January (link above).
Sneijder has been quoted telling Voetbal International:
"If I must give a percentage for it, I think I am 90 per cent certain I will stay [until at least the summer]."
"I enjoy myself here at the moment and at this point I don't have anything to choose from."
"I don't say that I am 100% certain because something unexpected can always happen."
Lyon are now offering Sneijder something to choose from. Stay at Inter where he has not featured regularly (albeit injuries have contributed) OR he can join Lyon.
He can join Lyon and play in every game he is available for. We will give him Domestic Cup matches, League and European matches. We will even go as far as he will never be substituted. Full 90 minutes in every single match Lyon play is what we are offering him.
He will also have the chance train and play with player like Lloris, Bosingwa, Barzagli, Réveillère, Cissokho, Martin, Clint Dempsey, Michel Bastos, Papiss Demba Cisse and Lisandro López to name a few in our extensive squad.
This will also be a new challange for Sneijder. Lyon are competing for three trophies this season in very competative league and cups.
Also this can be the "fresh" start Sneijder needs. At Real Madrid his softmore season wasnt the best. He then moved to Inter and had a tremendous first season but once again his second hasnt the best. Lyon can be a new fresh start in a top competative league so he will still be playing football at a high standard.
Lyon are offering everything Sneijder needs to get back to a top level. With the Euros coming up Sneijder will want to be in the Netherlands squad that travel to Poland and Ukraine to compete, more importantly he will want to be in the starting 11 as an integral part like he was in the last Wolrd Cup. With him not getting matches and Lyon offering every match possible he can have every chance of hitting top form with Lyon and going into the Euros on a high as an indispensable player for Netherlands. Also with Rafael van der Vaart picking up form and looking for a recall Sneijder does need match time to cement his place.

- So far Sneijder has only been link with Man United and there has been no bid, not even rumours about any contact from Man United.
- Sneijder's valuation and been dropped to £25m, both links above state that.
- Inter President Massimo Moratti has informed Sneijder's agent, Soren Lerby, that he can go for €25 million. (First link above)
- Moratti has also admitted his club could end up selling the player, if the expected price was met, to any club. (Second link above)
- Inter Milan will sell Wesley Sneijder to any club this month who meets their £25million valuation. (Third link above). It also reiterates that the Italians do not expect to hear from Manchester United after they failed to make the knockout stages of the Champions League AND that Massimo Moratti has met with the Dutchman’s agent & said if the value is met he can leave.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Everton
TP1
Player: Clarence Seedorf
Club: AC Milan
Bid: £3M
Reason: Clarence has played at the highest level for many, many years but is in the process of winding down his career at Milan. We at Everton would love Clarence to join us where he would be able to combine playing at a high level in the Furious League with working with some of our younger players, some top young players like Mateo Kovacic and Juan Iturbe would only benefit from training and playing with a legend such as Clarence Seedorf.
TP2
Player: Marcelo Canete
Club: Sao Paulo FC
Bid: £3M
Reason: Marcelo Canete is a great young Argentine attacking midfielder, playing well in Brazil but we believe he will do very well at an English side, his experience can only be improved as he will be surrounded by many of his countrymen and although he is yet to recieve International honours so far in his career, we feel this is more down to the golden generation of players in Marcelo's position such as Lionel Messi. Canete would get regular game time in an Argentinian influenced side.

Lazio 2/2
Player: Andre Ayew
Club: Marseille
Fee: £13m
Reasoning: We can offer Andre first team football in a youthful squad and ambitions towards European qualification. He would slot in at LW, his favoured position and we believe would link well with French-speaking Assou Ekotto on the same wing. Plus he can get his wife free knickers and other kinky items from our sponsor. Who wouldn't want that?
