The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of pub regulars. We've got the big group pic from the HEC final in Cardiff, plus insets of ll those who couldn't make it
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Dreamer,
I thought they might have not taken a chance with Lydiate, particularly with a good player like Ryan Jones on the bench. I thought we'd only see him on for an hour. I also thought Hook might have come on sooner, purely because Priestland was unlucky with a couple of kicks. Not saying he had a bad game there though.

yeah I know, I was of the same mind Rev, think it was such a nervy game though, it would have been a huge risk changing the 10's for us with how we were playing the game.
I thought Bradley was superb when he came on actually, best I've seen him play for us for a long time.

Morning. Well played France - England's handling has been dreadful. Flood especially with forced offloads. Oh look, there's another

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The one thing I am noticing about England at the moment is that they don't seem to be playing as a team. I don't know if that makes sense but they are very fractured in their play and keep forcing things. Still time enough in this match to change things around though.

Is Vickery getting on anyone else's t!ts? He's far too excited for a commentator.

Agreed, but Charteris made 16 tackles in 40 minutes. Unreal number really. Another selection problem for Gatland. Sort that one out fella.
Jamie Roberts' only problem is a busted beak. I'd be very very surprised if that kept him out next week.

Risca - J-Ro could wear one of those masks like Harinordoquy did in the Heino

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
wow did he really? that's a crazy good stat Rev!
I don't think Luke would have been taken off if he hadn't have taken that knock in the 1st half. I really hope he's okay, his work rate is phenomenal for us.

Yeah, he's too emotionally invested to do the job.

Exactly, I'm surprised he hasn't sworn yet.
Parra taking forever to get this over. Looks like a Wales/France semi.
Commiserations England regs

Yeah, unlucky England regs. They've never really put it together for you. Typical French to only turn up now!
France vs Wales should be a very good game though. Looking forward to that.

England regs really think that first half cost you
Got to hand it to the French though, they got it right when it mattered.
I'm even more nervous now, I'd have much rather faced England in the semi final.

Gutted, but the reality is we were not good enough. Everything we did smacked of desperation out there.
Well done France.
Could be a corker of a semi.

It looked like France saved their best until later in the tournament. Is everyone going to get up tomorrow for the other QFs?

Commiserations to the England fans... they never really got into gear and seemed a little off their game.
Congrats to France - they really came out firing and sealed it with those two first half tries.

Spot on Ozzy. When you make as many errors and give away stupid penalties as England did then we deserve everything we get. Whats going to happen to the Eng management now??

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
really looking to the QF's tomorrow. Really enjoyed the ones today, both fast paced and exciting.
I don't know what to do withmyself today now. Had loads of things lined up to distract me if we lost but I don't seem to want to do any of them now!
