The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Mark.
Got burnt at football this morning. Presently rubbing cream onto the tender Gilly pegs. Off for a round of golf now.
Dissapointed I missed the rugby. Sounds like a cracker by all means, can't help but fear for our meeting at the WC though. The 'a' game would be required.

Notch -
I missed it too Willy, surprised by how much Australia won by really!
Been in the garden this morning with my mam and just had a lovely lunch with nearly everything in it coming from the garden. I've also been given the job to pick the garden peas today, think a lot of them might accidently get eaten instead I love this time of year.

Almost sorted flights for Belfast for November, only problem is I'll have to be there for a week;may consider walking.
Just watched a film about Alain Bashung, doubt if any of you know/knew him, this is a great tune, don't need to understand the words

They sell beer at Ravenhill,Notch?<doh>Otherwise it'll have to be the stuff with an 'e' in it
yeh, I've found a cheap way of flying to Belfast, but requires leaving here on Thursday and returning the following Tuesday/Wednesday; I'll sort it out with Rava next week.

Well... they sell Heineken. You can make your own mind up
But I know a restaurant in South Belfast relatively near the ground that is affiliated with a local micro-brewery so I'll point you in that direction!

Is the Hilden brewery still going Notch? Anyhow, I'm sure Wetherspoons have outlets in Belfast.
Watching Griquas v Golden Lions. I can't help thinking that this Lions team would have given Aus a sterner test earlier. Jano Vermaek is a v. good scrum half.

Cheers Notch. Hilden were the only real ale brewery in NI for some time. We managed to collar some of their beer at the Ealing Beer Fest a few years ago

Afternoon all. I'm not ashamed to say that I fell asleep during the second half of the Australia - South Africa match. It was a wonderful nap.

Naps rule, I don't care what anyone says (or doesn't say).
I got back from a bit of shopping in Cardiff about an hour ago. I'd normally go first thing but I wanted to watch the rugby, the second half of which I missed due to the aforementioned bliss-nap. Is was so ridiculously busy, people dawdling all over the place. I have issues with dawdlers.

Just got to half time of OzSa and if the refs turn up, then the NH teams have nothing to fear in the WRC(albeit 5/8ths of the SA pack missing)

In other news, a friend of mine say's there's loads of rumours on Twitter that Amy Winehouse shuffled off this mortal coil. As I say it's rumours from a friend, so don't ask me for further details.

No she's gone. What a waste. 27 years of age, so much talent, but with a huge self-destruct button.
It's sad.

I'll miss her music. Hoped she get it back together with the help of her Da. Not to be. I know she lost it, so would a lot of us at that level and at that age. But it doesnt detract from her sublime talent.
RIP Amy.

I disagree Gibbo (but you know that). Her first album was horrendous. Back to Black's success is down to Mark Ronson's production. I don't think she was ever going to come back from that success without him.

THIS is the best rugby league game I have seen in years. Love it. Makes some RU games look so tame by comparison.

I disagree with you on that one, but fair enough Cari. Who really knows what goes on in peoples minds. I mean she never killed anyone did she? Except herself. She made me smile and bop. That's what great artists do.
Yeah, loving the RL.

As a rugby league fan I think this is a farcical game an shows why I always think Union will be better. Wigan have been the far superior team but because both sides are almost guaranteed at least 40% possession, you can't dominate a game.
Some cracking length of the field tries though.

It wasnt really the drugs and booze that killed her Hughie. It was her mindset. She couldnt handle the fame. Or her talent.
Like George Best.
