One thing we know about Margarito is that against Mosley, it's the only fight we know about in which we know with 100% certainty that he didn't have loaded gloves. Pac also being an exception.

fights a complete pick em at this momext in time however i get a feeling marg is going to take a beating. cotto by a wide UD with a view of the ref stopping it.
could also see marg grinding cotto down in truth. cant wait for this though.

Would of picked Margarito to make the quitter Cotto quit again...But after the beating he got against Pacquiao I make it a pick em fight.

I would say that Margarito took more punishment than Cotto did against Pacqiaou.

Cotto avoids shots and rolls with a lot of the punches, though still took an almighty beating, whereas Margarito blocked everything with his face. He doesn't know how to defend, but Cotto kept a high guard throughout most of the fight and backed off after the first 4 rounds. Plus the first 4 rounds were actually competetive, whereas Margarito was just took punch after punch.

Margarito took 474 punches whereas Cotto took 336 punches, 150 punches less, and Margarito walked straight forward into them and had far more facial injuries, I would have to say Margarito took a much worse sustained beating than Cotto did.

However Cotto most certainly took one hell of a beating aswell!!

Rumours seem to be going around that Margarito isn't allowed to fight because of the handwraps. Hopefully they will just move it.

I think the deciding factor will be Margarito's potential decline. I think he's in Cotto's head no matter what condition Cotto''s in or who he's trained by. It'll come down to whether or not Margarito can replicate his performance from the first fight (legally).

Good ol Bob will make twice the money - it's a sell out I think, and even if the main event doesnt go ahead - he is not legally entitled to give a refund as 'an event' has still gone ahead. Then he can put on another show at a state where Marg will get the licence and double up!
