Vegas and betting Empty Vegas and betting

Post by Sugar Floyd Louis Fri 28 Oct 2011, 8:47 pm

In light of my other article that strayed off topic, next year, I finally get to go to the Mecca for us sweet science enthusiasts.

Anyways couple questions,

For those who have been, how was it like the first time you went??? besides the fight (hopefully) what were the other highlights of your trip? the casinos, women??

secondly, in general, Vegas or not, what's the most you've put on a fight? and did you win your bet?

Last but not least, is betting on a round a mugs bet?

I plan on going for a Mayweather fight, and will put as much as I can, seems the most reliable boxer out there.

Vegas is an expensive place.....Some great restaurants there but they are expensive........Try going to the neon museum if it's still there.....It's well worth an hour or more of your time.....

I don't think there is a more electrifying site than the Vegas strip at night...

However unless Floyd is fighting Manny I'd bet sack all as you won't get much back..

Vegas is an experience but always take more than you think....

I was a kid first time I went. Second time as an adult though highlight was my brother passing out in the Beatles Circus even though he loves the Beatles. Casinos were good. I mainly stuck to Video Poker. She cost more than she originally said...

Didnt bet on the fight so cant advise sorry

No such thing as a mugs bet. If you win you win if you lose you lose

Hope you have a good time

Stayed at the Bellagio and it was fantastic. Mainly played roulette as you can cover your bets so that your money goes further. The advantage of gambling is that you drink for free (except tips) while you're at the tables or machines. The highlights were a couple of very drunken nights in New York New York. Can also recommend a trip to the Grand Canyon if time allows.

Enjoy! I am jealous as it will be some years before I get back.

i plan to go to vegas this rear, im hoping khan, manny or bradley fight floyd so i could go. i'd be betting to, never bet on rounds anymore cos i only ever won. i tend to go KO or points for a particular fighter, or a fighter to get knocked down but win, as thatt tends to be high odds.
