Las Vegas...
The missus and I are off to Las Vegas on the 19th April this year and we were hoping to get a fight in but by the looks of it we have had no luck there! Katsidas is fighting the weekend before we are there and Mayweather a few weeks after!
Is there any 'local' shows or websites that have schedules etc on them? The ones I have found are quite out of date.
Also is there anything else of interest for boxing fans to do/visit whilst in Vegas?
Cheers lads, I have been reading these boards for a few years now and I was registered on the bbc version and posted a few times but have just been lurking on this one!

Never been to Vegas, so can't help. Enjoy though.
I think jeff has been so he should be able to give you a few pointers. If only where the strip clubs are.

Isnt that a posh name for a bouncer?
Re: Las Vegas...
What did you reckon to that Steffan? We're thinking of that or Penn & Teller!
Noel Gallagher is on whilst we are there too, but we're seeing him next weekend in Sheffield so reckon we'll give that a miss!

I'd have thought you'd have been more of a Stereophonics / Catatonia man Steffan.

Re: Las Vegas...
I went with the missus to see Kylie at the Palms in Vegas. Wasn't expecting much but got very drunk beforehand and it was cracking.
There was a fight museum in Mandalay Bay Casino when I was out there a copuple of years ago. Not sure if it's still there but given Mandalay Bay is slap bank in the middle of the Strip then it wouldn't be too nuch of an imposition to check out if it's still around.
Otherwise, if you have time I can recommend a day trip to the Grand Canyon. The Skywalk is brilliant provided you can stomach heights.

Re: Las Vegas...
Cheers for that mate.
Its stuff like the museum I was hoping there would be, the amount of big fights thats been held there over the years they should have something there. I'll be sure to add that to the list!
We were thinking of the Grand Canyon and then we've been looking at a place called Red Rock Canyon which is 20 miles or so away from the strip so we were thinking of hiring a Mustang for the day and having abit of a road trip instead of having a full day at the Grand Canyon. But its still not totally ruled out mind.
