England vs South Africa 6 March 2011
If England don't play Tredwell on this pitch well then when ARE they going to play him? Are they waiting for Yardy to tear a muscle trying to slog??
I simply cannot believe that the original 606 is still closed for the night. Really. There's a game on featuring England, you know.

A terrible start for the England batters, not what we wanted at all.

England's batsmen collapsed to 171 all out against South Africa at the cricket World Cup.
South Africa's Robin Peterson took two wickets (Andrew Strauss and Kevin Pietersen) in the first over in Chennai. He and fellow spinner Imran Tahir took seven wickets between them.
Only half centuries from Ravi Bopara and Jonathan Trott saved England from total humiliation.
South Africa need 172 to win.

Enlgand haven't learned anything have they? Why do we insist on playing Anderson when it's clear that none of the pitches suit swing bowling? You need raw pace or spin.
Get Tredwell in with Yardy and Swann and let Bres and Broad take the middle overs.

JP Duminy is dangerous, but after him we should be able to skittle them.
