what did he do??

Peter Fitzgibbon is one of the worst refs I've seen. What an awful bit of refereeing for that try! Misses two blatant things in 10 secs.

Great game at Northampton. Scarlets superb, Preistland MoM and fully deserved. Saints missed Foden and Roberts and Lamb had a nightmare last 20. Saints dominated scrum but not much else.

to lose by only 6 at cardiff with 14 men for 60 mins is decent.
ion destroyed jenkins in the scrum.

Didnt get to watch any of the rugby last night and just picking up the scores. Cant believe Saints lost at home? From sounds of it they had some very bad decisions go against them, but were rubbish at the same time and made lots of mistakes.

Not having a top quality fly half always costs them.

Saints pack let them down last night Chris. That and lack of basic skills they spilled so much ball. Clark had a stinker as pisi ashton Dickson Downey and many others did. Lamb was poor when Roberts came on also.

Always said saints lack it at top. Don't have any proven big game players. Look at Toulouse, Leinster etc they have certain wc players who step up and get them out of tricky situations. Good example was Munster and o'gara last week

Matt

You have to put Lamb in with the poor players. He was awful throughout along with every other back and most forwards. Downey looked good on crash ball but limited hands let him down throughout.

Saints scrum was good, Roberts was dire when he came on as he was v Sale earlier this season. Hats off to scarlets though, their 9 was good all day. very lively and fiesty, then the replacement 9 went half the pitch after stepping 4 players. Priestland was sensational and Jon Davies was great apart from one or two mistakes.

I did put lamb in with the poor players. Trouble with saints is they have one way to play and no plan b. personally I would not want mallinder as coach as he has not demonstrated success at top level for me

Just watched some of it - cant believe no one reacted with Ashton;s knock on! All the Saints team stopped. That's worst Saints perfromance I've seen since their return to the AP.

I didnt think Scarlets played well at all either, just that Saints were so bad that it got Scarlets the win. Priestland is looking very good.

I don't get why Saints persist with Roberts at no9 when they've got Stuart Commins around, far better player and has the quickest pass of all the no9s at Saints. They also have Alex Day coming through and he's better than Roberts too!

I think that Saints do have some big game players, but the issue they have is that they dont have a top class player in the midfield - would say that most AP teams have got better decision makers than Saints in that key position - e.g. Wasps have got Robinson & Flutey - both would walk into the Saints team there.

Really amazed that Saints lost that though - just didnt turn up! Havent seen them like that ebfore.

Guess Sarries look like the best English bet now :-(

Should have won pooly from sounds of it - last minute penality to tie the game for the Ospreys wasnt it?

With all the players leaving the Ospreys in the summer have they now slipped behind the other Welsh regions? I had a look at their pack and theyve lost a lot of their better players.

If you had Quins forwards with Gloucesters backline you'd have some team!

Very surprised Quins are winning at Kingholm (21-9), playing some cracking stuff this season but thought this would be a game too far.

All teams get away with little bits Chris. I always admire a team who push the boundaries as it shows they know how to play the ref rather than be clean as a whistle every game

"Pooly - I didnt mention Youngs as pretty sure I read that he's out for 6months - 6Nations in Feb. So doesnt look as though he will be available."

"Pooly - Tigers don't ever really let people know what's happening with injuries, I think it was Crane last year who got an absolute b ollocking for when he tweeted he got injured. THere was an interview, which I think has now been taken offline from TIgers site with Cockerill saying that Youngs had come back worse than before last injury and was out for many, many months."

Chris, not sure where you get your info from, Youngs came on as sub today. If its the same fella who told you Clark had the most turnovers in the prem last season I'd stop listening to him as he talks out of his hoop.

Not watched anything as played scored and won by 50 but not surprised by glos losing.

We have so many young players that we will sometimes implode and go wrong. Also no depth.

May is special and for me most gifted young player in England.

No idea how we went but burns is a front foot player and when it goes wrong for him it goes massively wrong

Biarritz vs saracens a proper game

How good was harinordoquoy. As Fitzpatrick said best 8 in the world. Basically plays 8 for Biarritz with 7 on his back and alternates with lakafia at
Being 8 at back of scrum.

Hari does all the 8 reading of game and rules lineout and lakafia all the flanker work. Begs question why do they not play lakafia at flank and hari 8???

Lakafia some prospect but raw as hell and needs a ton of work. Not international class yet but I think has a huge future. Think him and the new Whitelock at 8 in canterbury squad this year best 8 prospects going. 3-5 whitelocks in Canterbury
squad this year.

Ngwenya top try. He is gash defensively but in open field wow!!! How are Biarritz bottom of top 14?

Sarries still not out and have that spirit that glaws would love

Glasgow not playing well. Gray isn't doing badly in defence. Cusiter struggling a little after his knock.

O'Malley looks handy. Never seen a yellow card work against the side with numerical advantage quite as much as it did there. Weir is really struggling.

saw first half and last 10. Humphries really belted the first pen! had 10 m and was from inside his own half.

Healy comes on and gets mullered. He needs to improve his scrummaging so much. There is nothing special with this Glasgow scrum at all.

He could be cold still, I'll give him benifit. Cusiter looking busy, I'm a big fan when on form.

Humphries is so infuriating, is so talented and looks magic at times then misses easy touches/convs and game has past him by. Possibly the most gifted FH in the NH but has just never done it for prolonged period.
