Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Hiya guys, thanks for continuing the fantasy leagues on v2.
Quick question, would you like your own section within the gaming part for each of your leagues?
We can name each subsection folder with the name of the league, and within it, it keeps your threads together and easily accessible for the members.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
good stuff, I will sort it for you.
Is there a particular article you would like as a 'sticky' i.e. it stays at the top of your section?
You will be able to put the links on the 'sticky' article to the other threads as a short cut also, if needed.
Good to have you on board

Reference Academy players for next season, what is the age limit going to be? I only ask as I know it's been pointed out elsewhere that there are a few overage players currently knocking about in academies on here.
Are we sticking with under 21 years of age when the season starts?
If so, that will mean any player whose date of birth is on or after 01/09/1990 can be an academy player for next season.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Driver suggestion for next season.
In the interests of making the league more even would you consider lowing the win bonus? At the moment its 3m for the win and 1m for the loss. From one transfer window to another next season that could see the top sides with 15/20m more funds then the rest.
Makes it harder for the lower teams to compete for the best foreign players available. Top sides can bid over the odds for the number one target and still have enough to get the 2nd player. Its just a suggestion but could well make things alot more difficult for every one during the transfer windows if you dropped it to say 2m?
Also for Prop and Leeds/Worcester whomever he gets. Would it be better to leave him with the squad he has and a cash injection? He already knows where he needs to improve his side to compete so instead of having the poor fella start fresh let him keep going especially when the world class players are all gone. Unless of course you do want to start fresh Prop!! (love this smiley lol)

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
It's a good idea that Johnny but then it's not really rewarding the teams who have went out and won the game.
One possibility is that you gain extra cash for a bonus point , So it would end up something like
BP Win - £3m
Win - £2m
LBP - £2m
Lose - £1m
Draw - £1.5
I'll ask prop about that as it seems a good idea.
Also the Cash injections for next season will reflect budgets after the next foreign transfer window. Excluding Leeds/Worcester who will just get a monster budget on Thursday

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Yeah that looks a bit better mate but would go with 1.5/1.75m for the bp loss. We dont want the losing side getting the same as the winners.
Hows the foreigns working then mate? is it one in the next few weeks then two in july/august with a cash injection?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
good point especially if the result is at the 7 point limit.
30th may is the next foreign bid.
Quick question would people like an outside bid?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
The other alternative is to get rid of win bonuses and just award for predicting, which then gives everyone the same chance in the transfer market.

Feel free to tell me to butt out if I am sticking my two penneth in where it's not wanted but a few recommendations that I would make for next season in terms of rule changes…
1. Do away with the win bonuses altogether and just award a cash bonus for predicting. This will stop the top teams just getting richer and outbidding others for the best players.
2. Draw up a list of 15 foreign players, one for each position and allow Prop to select 3 and yourself 2 as a sort of draft player thing in order to just give the two of you a bit more strength to your squads to be able to compete. The 10 remaining players do not get drafted, they go back into the foreign transfer system to be bid on by all.
3. Draft list containing players who will be playing AP rugby in real life next season but are not yet in this game.
4. 3 foreign transfers per team during the summer, 1 in June, 1 in July and 1 in August.
If I think of any others I will let you know, but as I say, tell me to mind my own business if I am treading on toes.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Have to say i quite like your recommendations pete mate
I would say though with the foreign draft are we looking at the very best players still available or good players who will help the two sides out while leaving the best out there for us all to bid on?
This is partly self preservation here from me but would say in terms of starting teams exeter have caught up with the rest of the league. Bit more depth and driver could do very well next year. Would having an extra two signings be fair on everyone else? When from say me in 5th down to Exeter at 11th we are all fairly even in starting 15s
Prop has done a decent job with Leeds but they werent best ran before he joined the league and need that bit more help to get to the next level and should be allowed the extra couple signings.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Afternoon fellas. I know you're probably bored of me trying to recruit new managers but with the transfer over to 606v2 we are now short of 2, maybe 3 managers in the Euro Rugby League.
If we don't get the managers the league will have to close, which would be a shame mid way through a fourth season.
If you're interested in a vacancy at all, post here:
https://www.606v2.com/t3659-euro-rugby-league-season-4-homepage

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Hello do you have any vacancies on here?
Did a few Sports gaming games on 606, but as it's closing I haven't decided to go on there for about a month now. I see there are three different new 606 websites, one doesn't have sports gaming and another one does have sports gaming but no games listed for it.
Would be interested in any game on here so if there is a vacancy im willing to fill it

Adding me to the waiting list would be very nice.
Don't mind waiting before three people, seems to be doing good for itself with three people on the waiting list, if people don't get there links in because of this move fingers crossed Gloucester might come up
