I'm stumped on this one.
Unless there was a Welsh footballer called Brazil Alan, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't.

Now if there is more than one answer then thats another matter entirely!!
Fair enough mate! It's not the answer I have though.
Another clue. One was a goalkeeper. That should make it easy to figure out.

Not sure Swanny. Its just her V2 name I was referring to. In the Shire of Perth? Not too well up on me Shires.
I'll find out soon. She is coming over to Dublin with me for the Leinster v Blues HC QF. Perthshire's most fanatical Leinster fan, on the road again, och aye, roysh.

My Shire knowledge is limited too Gibbo but I'm pretty certain they're next door to each other. Maybe she's from Stirling and now resides in Perthshire?...

We have a winner!
Tabs - errr Rava! Scone it was indeed deemed to be the first "capital" of Scotland, followed by Perth (just down the road Gibbo) followed by Edinburgh.
In today's terms of "Capital Cities" though, Scotland has only ever had the one - Embra.
Take a bow Rava, but don't forget to ask a question.

I think the colours were meant to represent the predominant colours of the major sporting nations of the time - GB, France, Belgium, Italy, USA, Germany, etc then later countries like China and Brazil.

Rugby - go for the obvious one first.
Golf - the second most obvious.
Both coming back in Rio of course.
Polo
...
Lacrosse
...
...
Hmmm this one is more difficult than I thought when I started typing.
Oh - standing long jump!
Nah, I'm all done... real tennis? Monkey tennis?

Rugby
Golf
Polo
Lacrosse
Standing long jump.... all Yes.
Real Tennis is a 'No' - I played that once in Moreton Morrrell....crazy game but I liked it.
Unless you mean Rackets? That was one of them. So you're close enough.
So that's 6.... 2 more?

Re: Quiz Questions
No idea what rackets is LB, I've never heard of it so I can't claim that one. I meant Real Tennis as in the game that seems to be played against the side of a shed with a funny roof.
Saw the Real Tennis court at Hampton Court some years ago and thought then that it looked totally fecked-up.
Squash?
I actually thought this one would be easy, but I'm guessing there's some really obscure old-school "sports" in there like ferret-fettling or something.
