Gloucester haven't been looking great lately tbh, just don't seem to be clicking like they did last season

Thing is we have very little depth and our halfbacks do not work well together

I've been loving May this season where as Sharples as stuttered a little. Had Sharples as nailed on for England but not quite sure now, that left wing spot is pretty wide open

May is top class.
Bright bright future.
Put him in the top bracket of our young players (ie potential world class) along with Marler, Thomas, Gibson, Farrell and Tuilagi.

12 or 13 such good basics it's untrue think 13 allows him to use his gas properly. Sharples has been great this year when we get him the ball. Problem is we have not been winning quick ball and it's killing it's. The main problem is at ten. Our passing is so unnaccurate it kills the attacks. Tindall is massively out of sorts and would prefer may or trinder there

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Sharples is such an intelligent player think the higher the level the better he will be. Hate to say it but a lot of our players will probably be off as we have so little cash.

Bath to me look short of a top class prop and 13. Be very dangerous if the got those two positions sorted.

Think a hooker and a decent full back would help them also. Sexton playing well

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Sublime rugby from Leinster. Sexton pulling the strings fantastically and Bath just cant make a dent in their defence. Dissapointed they didnt opt for the corner there at the end

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Bath have one runner in their entire 15 who is a strike runner and that is Banahan who is SO predictable its untrue.
the Leinster backrow gives them so much go forward its untrue - Sexton is such a clever player.

Could be 50 points here! Leinster, Toulouse and Clermont so far ahead of everyone else.

I think Clermont will be knocked out Chris, wouldn't have them in Toulouse/Leinster class.
Each time I've seen Bath it's like their backs have never played together before. No cohesion or understanding.

Shane Jennings is such a fantastic 7. Won't get the recognition he deserves internationally because of Ferris and SOB but he gives Leinster great go forward ball at the breakdown. One of the best in the NH by along way. Would walk into the England side.

Leinster are a class above Pooly just so damn good with the ball in hand! If it werent for stupid errors last week they would have had the bonus point win then as well. Bath cant live with them. Between them and Toulouse for the Heino right now

Sarries look very savvy this season, they'd def be an outside bet. England's best shot anyway

Leinster are good but this is a really poor bath side. Amazed Leinster play like this without BOD

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Without doubt englands best chance. no one will want to play them.
Likely to see QF something like
Toulouse v Ulster
Leinster v Edinburgh
Cardiff v Clermont
Sarries v Munster

I suspect the Home side would win between Toulouse and Leinster if they meet before the final. Fancy Toulouse pack to have to much for Leinster's myself.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
To be fair BOD as an attacking force has really diminished the last 18 months or so and wouldnt say theres much between any of the Leinster centres. Sexton is the key driver on attack for Leinster. So dangerous ball in hand
On Leinster centres wouldnt mind seeing Fitzy get a crack in there now has got over last years complete drop in form and has the skill set to make agood centre. Only problem is with McFadden and O Malley there looking like a great combo why change it?

Been very good this year for Leinster. Not back to his very best yet but playing well. Missing the world cup was a real kick up the back side for him. Starting in the Heino ahead of Fionn Carr who has probably been the form irish winger in the Rabo this year

what do people make of jake abbott? he's playing pretty well for Worcester, but as he's at an unfashionable club doubt that people will rate him?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
You need to be playing very well at Worcester to be rated as no one follows them and they aren't one of the bigger sides which are on regularly.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Steve is bang on the button. The few times I've seen Worcester on sky Abbot wasnt too good. Bounced of a few tackles, remember one in particular leading to a try. He's a prospect but last years injury has set his development back some way. A full year in the championship would have been great for him. Doesnt help that Kvesic has looked so good as hes getting all the attention when on the field from the media

Who do we reckon has been the better fly half between Stephen Jones and ROG?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I'm talking about over the last 10 years or so Nick I think it's quite a tough question.
Jones has been the Lions 10 in 2005 and 2009 and has been crucial in two grand slam teams but hasn't had any real success at club level.
Whereas ROG has been the centre of a European rugby power for 10 years but hasn't been as succesful at International level.
I think I'd probably edge towards Jones, but its pretty tough

ROG for me. Been a key part of the most succesful period in Irish rugby ever. Had plenty of success himself internationaly with a grand slam and numerous triple crowns. Been a lot more consistent then Jones for me over the years

I myself would have said Jones to be far more consistent than ROG on the international level.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
another factor is ROG's defence isn't as good as Jones.
Saw some great fly half defensive work from Flood and Sexton yesterday and Hodgson on friday (although I'm sure a saw him miss at least 2 tackles)
