ok.. admit it...
i will be the first. saw the team yesterday and thought should i even bother watching it? never seen such a "weak" midfield on paper in my life..but.... what a performance from everyman on the pitch. the twins kept arsenals full backs occupied and so stpped them doing what they do to most teams.
By now you would have thought i would have learned to trust SAF's selection.. but i am only human.
Great game, many positives and a trip to wembley

I was on the chatbox telling everyone that it was the worst midfield line up Fergie has ever put out.
And then I ate my words!
The twins were immense, I wonder if they will start to move more forward, Bale started as a left back and found his best position further forward.

I was quite excited at the prospect of Fabio and Rafael playing in midfield. I am always happy with Sheasy plays so that was fine by me. Gibson still does nothing for me at all
Re: ok.. admit it...
Out of the two, I think Rafael is the better defender. As for Fabio, he could be the solution to our left wing problem. But if Evra leaves, who do we replace him with ?

Rafael has had more opportunity to play; I would class him as better but for all we now Fabio could be just as good given more games. I can't see Patrice leaving especially since he has signed a new contract
Re: ok.. admit it...
That is true Sara, I'm sure Fabio would have performed just as well but he has been unlucky with a few injuries.
