The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Dan Carter and Honor Dillon above the bar! And if anyone tells the Australian Womens' Weekly that KiwiRedDevil's Mum smuggled a camera into the service* there'll be hell to pay - they paid a fair amount for the exclusive
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

* Note to any lawyer-y types, that's a joke and is completely and utterly false, Mum forgot to put the camera in her handbag

The West Stand has been renamed the North Stand after George and the other three stands are in the West so are west stands, if you know what I mean, so possibly yes, but I think you will find though, that the Scarlet fans in the North enclosure would have no (and indeed would claim no) desire to be anything approaching objective (for which of course you need two eyes) and are entirely unapologetic for that fact, therefore making me (and of course I strive for objectivity at all times) the exception which proves the rule; if that makes sense.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
So the West stand is the one which faces West but is now the North Stand.
All the stands which face anydirection other than West are also known as the West stands.
In fact, the only stand that is not in the West is the West (now North) Stand!

Maybe in the next hour but by tomorrow.
The job is a big pay cut from my last employment and a step backwards but I am just grateful for anything to be honest. Nearly a 50% paycut in salary
But I suppose its a big payrise from my current situation.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Good evening anyone.
Hobo - all the best for the job news. Look at it as an improvement on your current situation rather than the less money angle. You never know where you could go from there too
I'm glad the weekend is coming. I see a chink of light in the tunnel. Had a nice day in work today - it was someone's 50th. To be fair, they pull out all the stops for birthdays in my new place. We're also having some party food in the office next week for Christmas.

Great to hear that things are looking up Cari!
We have P4's Christmas Carol service tonight but P5 has been off school all week. Going to try to take her at the last moment if she is well enough and hope she doesn't cough her way through the whole thing!

I hope so too Cari.
P4 is singing, dancing and playing her violin though not all at the same time!
She was picked from the orchestra to play one verse of one of the carols with 2 other kids so I would hate to miss it!

Just had my water bill of £175 drop on my mat. That's a lot. Oxfam claim that they can supply a whole African village for just £2 a month: time to change supplier I think.

The African villagers might have to make do with one well between them though Cymro.

Having spent several weeks digging wells I thought I was going there to help them out.
I suddenly thought to myself why are there so many able bodied men much younger than myself watching me dig.
I never went back again.

Could be because fetching the water is regarded as "womens work".
I am sure the women and children of the village were very grateful for your help.

That's the problem then they would rather die of thirst than dig for their own water.
Rather than getting somebody else to dig they should give each man in the village a spade.

Just shown that to some people in the pub. Loved it!
Now waiting for the Wasps game to come on. By the time I got back to London I wouldn't have made it to Wycombe for the first half hour of tonight's game. I wouldn't get home until well gone midnight either if I'd gone.

Evening HH I'm also waiting for Wasps match to start long weekend of rugby. One thing I'm not happy with is the Ospreys Blues games being on at the same time.

Just picked up my 9 year old brothers Xmas present. It says a lot about how mature I am that I am genuinely considering keeping it for myself. Monster trucks rule. Full stop. End of.

Nice 11 point lead for Wasps. Playing intelligently in this half. Bayonne down a man for 10mins.

Wycombe has its own micro-climate. Nicky R is tefeeming himself with the boot. His decision making has been off; shunning clear overlaps.

I saw that too Rava, think Robinson had an ok kicking game but his running game's taken a bit of a backwards step.
