Doumbia is average, as is Carroll. Fan is right that Kerzhakov is better.
Doumbia's CL goals were:
1 v Inter (who fielded a weakened side as they had already qualified)
2 v Trabzonspor
2 v Lille (after Lille were 2-0 up and had taken off a couple of defenders)
Against Inter and Lille in the other games, he was anonymous.

Don't worry cherries, you can still get a TP in for Danger Fourpence.
He dumps on Kerzhakov. Probably would literally if his wikipedia is anything to go by.

Samba and Dawson>Doumbia and Heskey (?)
Barrios and Kalou>King and whoever else your CB is now Dunne is injured

Okay, he might have been very involved in the parts of the game not included in the highlights. But given they didn't make the highlights, they obviously weren't moments that affected the game.
I have seen enough of Doumbia, including during his time in Switzeland to form my own opinion of him.

Caulker is a good player
But Doumbia is nowhere near the top 10 strikers in this league. I reckon I could name 20 better

Bojan
Donovan
Remy
Gameiro
Milito
Vucinic
Osvaldo
Podolski
Huntelaar
Gilardino
Lisandro (with spirit included)
van Persie

Barrios
Falcao
Hulk
Rodriguez
Adebayor
Zarate
Matri
Soldado
Rossi
Nilmar
Defoe
de Jong
Demba Cisse
Kerzhakov
Gomis
Suarez
How many is that? I have ignored those who I would put on a par with Doumbia

I saw a bit of him at Bristol City. He is not in that class yet as he needs to get more experience, but he will be. Very good young defender.

Ok fair enough Nick you didn't say that yes fans want to see a local lad but when one acts like Ravel Morrison I don't think they would want to see a thug representing thier club or city.
I very much doubt and I quote you saying "he can be a big big World Class Star" what has he done to prove that? How many apps has he made for the first 11? A big big World Class Star is someone like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi do you really believe he can be mentioned along those name considering our Wayne Rooney is not in thier class and has been hailed as the best English player sinze Gazza. I very much doubt it.
You know I really dislike the guy, you know like feeling sick dislike he has no respect nothing if he was not a Football everyone wouldcall him scum but because he plays for Manchester United he deserves our respect.

Out of those you took off the list I would say the following are head and shoulders ahead of Doumbia in most people's eyes:
Gameiro
Milito
Vucinic
Osvaldo
Podolski
Barrios
Zarate
Matri
Soldado
Rossi
Nilmar
de Jong
Suarez
And I would still say these are better, but others might not agree:
Bojan
Donovan
Rodriguez
Defoe
Demba Cisse
Gomis
Gameiro
Milito
Vucinic
Osvaldo
Podolski
Barrios
Zarate
Matri
Soldado
Rossi
Nilmar
de Jong
Suarez
And I would still say these are better, but others might not agree:
Bojan
Donovan
Rodriguez
Defoe
Demba Cisse
Gomis

Problem is a lot of people on here respect Afro's opinion, so all you have done by keep bringing him up, is highlight the negative opinion of someone with good football knowledge.
Anyone reading this would probably agree now, even without seeing him in action
