while its a shame for tremlett that hes got injured again from a team point of view we can replace a bowler far easier than we could a batsman imo

Absolutely right - Lewis, Dernbach, Meaker (if fit), Jordan, Dunn, Edwards, Jewell and, of course, the Viscount.

If he's out for 3 months that' s nearly half the county championship season gone

I hope it's not the end of Tremlett's England career; his bowling action puts a lot of strain on his body; he's not in first flush of youth for a fastish bowler, and there are other good bowling options available to the selectors.

Real shame for Tremlett. Most be a slight corcern to England that the fast bowlers are coming down with injuries. Broad in the Ashes series, then again in the World Cup. Bresnan missed the Sri Lanka Tests last summer and now the tour of Pakistan. Now the giant is injured.
