Chris Tremlett
Following the Ashes debacle, Chris Tremlett moved onto the Sydney Sixers for whom he was contracted in the Big Bash. After one game in which he bowled one over (0/9), he has now returned to the UK to undergo rehab for ''a slight elbow injury''.
Rather confirms it all.

Poor selection by England to choose him for the Ashes tour given his lack of fitness and form over the last two county seasons. Similarly a poor signing by the Sydney Sixers although Tremlett was always asking for trouble in taking the cash.

As with most things I blame Thatcher or her ghost as it is in this case. (note I think she's been dead long enough that this shouldn't be offensive; whether it is tasteful or not I leave up to you...)

In all seriousness it is quite clear that the England management messed up and brought Tremlett along more on a prayer than in any real expectation. Poor decision clearly. Not sure there is much more to say.
