What the team that currently sit at the top of Serie A without a loss to their name for one 14 points behind them purely for Hamsik, Lavezzi and Cavani?
Lyon are a shadow of their formerselves in real life. PSG possibly but I'd look at Porto, Benfica or Valencia first.

Better than Chelseas (on paper)?

Happy for those lower down to choose a different side from the ones that are left and arrange a budget then. Max for any side will be £50 mil. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Bloody hell, you chaps moan a lot don't you! Rolling Eyes

I dont understand the hostility towards getting Juve.

Buffon - one of the best in Europe
Chiellini - same as above
Elia - hottest young property out of Holland
Vidal - One of the best CDM
Krasić - Highly rated in these games, linked with Chelsea
Marchisio - scoring this season from midfield
Matri - 9 in 19 this season

Plus £50m to build with!

In the FL Juve were one of the strongest starting sides, plus you have a plethora of foreigns. In this league the y have one of the weakest starting squads and hardly any foreigns.

^^

How many of them players would get in the Barca or Real squad?

Chielini - yes. Ahead of Puyol and Pepe.
Vidal - on par with Busquets. Improve madrids team ahead of Khedira.

Boys, we're keeping Real and Barca. This isn't the FL, where I know you are concerned about it not being realistic. This isn't meant to be, it's a fantasy league which will include the best sides and best players in the world.

I still don't agree with some of your ratings, I honestly think Juventus are the worst team in the league, and have budgeted accordingly. Vidal isn't one of the best CDM's about, I could name 10 better.

Stick with it and play to the leagues strengths instead of thinking of ways to make it more like the FL. The constant criticism is getting on my grill a bit to be honest.

Also, what's this chat re assistants - what would they do?

Pull, we are only giving our own opinions on players. What is wrong with that? Its a forum for debates.
Im just saying Juve do not have the weakest squad from the list as they are top of Serie A, so obviously better than AC & Inter.

Mate, that's fine - debate is what football is all about, differing opinions are great.

It's asking for league restructuring, getting rid of Real/Barca etc. that's annoying.

Also teams need to be largely rated 'on paper' for the start. I would say AC and Inter have better players on paper at the minute, but obviously aren't performing.

It was only a suggestion on replacing Real & Barca, dont take it to heart. OK
Obviously this is your baby and we will run with whatever is decided. But you can understand the concerns when this league is based on formations only, people will look at Barca & Madrid and put them down for a win immediately, making it appear the game wont work.

I understand the concerns. You'll be surprised - often big battles emerge for 2nd and 3rd and Real Madrid can build sides to beat Barca if they use their bench wisely. Injuries will play a part also. The top 6 will be tight.

Half of the managers are FL managers as well as 3 out of 5 on the reserve.

I get the feeling that the general feeling of players ratings on FL is going to have an impact on here.

So I would say that the good, but non-marquee names are going to have more realistic ratings that they might have otherwise.

And Vidal is going to be one of the top rated CMs.
