Simpson two wonder tries - so close to getting two BP tonight.
Just left the Stoop, England u20s are very good - espc as that was largely our B team. Sat next to a Welshman at the start who told me how the welsh would thrash us during that game - great pleasure in saying how much better we are when Ford, Mills, Daly and others play...

Kruger a real athlete and lineout merchant poor
Carrier And often gets bullied in tackle
And breakdown. Personally I like him with a
Proper 4 but flip for me
Is poor. Especially in Sa where even now they have loads of locks.

Flip certainly not poor, don't get 10 caps as a SA lock bring poor.
Kruger dismantled Sharks lineout tonight and won man of the match, was outstanding in loose. Keeps this up and he's a def for SA cap.
Bulls up and under tactic is awful but stopped Sharks every getting in it.

Big Kruger fan think him and elstadt could be a great pair. Also check out the u20s lock for stormers starting he has potential.
Flip never an international he is a deacon/ borthwick player. If not a bull would not be capped.
Sa have no 3s Lambie Steyn goosen, jantjes, James
At 10
And
Options everywhere bar 9,3 and 15. Great side in making. How good was dagg today. Kaino at 8. Aussie backline unreal on paper but front 5 without sharpe lacks bite

No one is on the other page, and as I watched the game this evening wanted to discuss it!
Thought Sykes would be a future option for SA.

Sykes among many. Sa have locks like dirt. Lose matfield and roussouw. Apparently Meyer will pick bakkies as he should and will pick overseas boks like Steyn etc. right decision

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Totally outshone by Kruger for me, very good display. Flip could go either way I reckon...fantastic carrier but may lack the brains to nail SA jersey for good.
Elstadt looked great at beginning last year but faded. Big season for him and Bekker in different ways.
Be surprised if they go with Botha as hes unlikely to make next WC

Very true, they're number of locks is oustanding, Aus would kill for a share!
I wouldn't be worried for SA if Meyer will pick overseas, he can pick Sarel and Hougaard at nine at least, would be more worried about wingers. They don't have standout wingers like other than Habana and JP. And if they're being considered as centres it would be a worry!

Me too pooly but Sa like England result focused and not planning. Bakkies will never make next wc but with thorn still best 4 in world.
Elstadt will be a year older and will be immense bar none. Brussow burger and spies
Is unreal also.

Meyer has apparently went to meet with FdP, Steyn & Fourie to see if they're still up for the 4N. Chillboy was excellent tonight too, thought he played better than BdP

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Thats understandable, Fourie and Steyn. Easily one of the best centre partnerships in the world, and still relatively quite young!
I agree Pooly, Chilliboy played well today. BdP didn't seem his abrasive self.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Simpson scored one good try which is a exact replica of most of his tries. Makes the line break then just has the gas to get past the 15. The other was from 5m out.
Wasps were s hite for 60 mins and looked like relegation fodder. Only scored through a howler from Andy Powell who apart from that was in the form he showed when he first burst onto the scene in 07/08. Peel was unreal again and the best 9 in the British Isles by a country mile for my money. Wasps the better side for the last 15 or so and Simon McIntyre was doing a job on Sheridan in the last 10 mins. Lindsay quiet in the lose and only had two bad lineout throws.
Sale were great for 20 mins and I'd have backed them to beat most sides if they played like that for 60 or so mins, they were good for 40 and then dire for 20 mins. Need to stop giving away pens as they killed us.
Daly and Wentzel off injured for Wasps. Wentzel's looked like a season ender.
Jonathan Poff had a bit of a nightmare with Powell. He couldn't work out his hand off and just flew past him. Powell must have made 100 yards in the game. Tuitupou also very good with Leota and Brady.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Will catch up on Bulls v Sharks and the earliest game tomorrow on sunday I reckon. Will of course be up for the Reds.
Juandre Kruger is a great player and as gooder front jumper as I've ever seen. Needed to be patient last year but has bags of talent.
I myself would go for an SA side of
1. Steenkamp
2. BDP
3. Jannie (for now, needs to be replaced soonish)
4. Juandre Kruger
5. Andries Bekker
6. Burger
7. Brusson
8. Spies
9. Pienaar
10. Lambie
11. JP Pietersen
12. Juan De Jongh
13. Jaque Fourie
14. Bryan Habana
15. Frans Steyn
Have sooooo many options at 9. Pienaar, FDP, Houghard, Pretorious, Vermaak,

Don't rush to watch it Steve!
I'd agree with most of your team, bar exceot Steyn.
I think he's wasted at fullback, much better as a 12. There are some good talents that can be groomed for 10 at 15 anyway.

Steven just saw the Wasps highlights and have to say how on earth isnt Peel in the Welsh setup, seemed outstanding last night.
Sale have got a very good team - do you lose many to the 6Nations? You've got to be top6 easily come end of the season.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
We have lost Dickinson (hasn't played or been on the bench), and have had either Powell or Morgan missing for each game so far. We might have lost Hendrie Fourie had he not been with injures but currently that's it. Lost Miller, Myall and Gaskell to the Saxons but not many missing.
We should get top 6 if we win our home games but when we are bad we are very very bad.
Peel was outstanding. When Peel went off is when Simpson started to get going.

Three year contract - apparently Wasps didnt even try and talk to him.
Though we are in such a worrying state in terms of finances that I am not sure what is going to happen to us if we dont get new owners and our own ground soon.
Went to the Stoop last night and it is an amazing ground, great facilities and so easy to get to - complete oppostie for us.

Robshaw hasn't been great, needs to step it up. Our ruck support has been a little poor but backline went ok.
Farrell booted everything first 20 but growing into it and we look pretty good!

So depressing we have no proper 7 though.
So key in the modern game. Warburton right up there with McCaw, Pocock and brussow.

Yea Robshaw isn't a 7 but what can we do?? Think him and Croft work well together but our lack of a 7 hinders us slightly as 7 can cause so much damage.
Warburton the true world class player in that Welsh backrow, he's immense.

I think we have to be bold and have a look at Luke Wallace sooner rather than later. Summer tour maybe.

Flood isnt good enough as an international - doesn't control it at all, makes wrong choices. Lost shape as soon as Farrell went off.
Injuries to Dickson and Farrell cost us.
Robshaw out of his depth too

Balls Chris tbh, you show how little you know about rugby sometimes. You make me laugh, I thought you played the game????
Flood played ok when he came on. I can't argue a case for Youngs but Lawes loss of ball in contact and stupid pens by Stevens and Hartley added up to 13 points. That 3 individual errors that have lost us game.
You can blame Flood??? And Robshaw (seriously???) for our loss but if those 3 hadn't have made individual errors we'd have won.
