After the sudden walk out of their coach, Essex Eagles are in dire straits. Update, the ex-Kolkata Knight Riders coach Shanky has taken the position. Big changes expected at Essex.

I'm down an opener in Guptil, and my reserve top-order bat in Robson. Not as tough as yours, but an interesting rejig.

I can see the supplementary auctions being interesting as people go after useful back-ups.

I'm probably going to be using Irfan Pathan as a specialist batsman at #6 or 7 this week, given the turning pitch down at hampshire - he's probably slightly better there than Niall O'Brien.

Yes. It gave me a chance to play stats geek and build a nice fancy injury generator spreadsheet Biltong

My batting order is fairly solid even with those injuries

Davies, Taylor, Roy, RHB, Hussey, Mathews, Stevens (or Northeast)

There's no suppression involved Biltong, I'm a data analyst by profession, so I get to spend 5 days a week being a stats geek, minimum

I have a horrible feeling Murphy will bite all of us at some point. Gregers was very unlucky this week, I did a fair amount of testing and never got more than 4 injured from any one team.
