A little late in the day but I thought I'd start a thread for this tourney.

Del Po thrashed Berdych earlier to reach the final. Federer vs Davydenko on NOW.

Some very good shotmaking in this match already.

Love watching Davy play, takes the ball so early and never concedes ground on the baseline.

Not good for Federer so far
He'll still win though, probs in straights

Holy sh*t that was a poor game by Federer.

5*-4 Davydenko serving for the set.

He might choke this.

Federer throwing in so many errors in that first set. One of his forehands in the last game went into the middle of the net.

If he moves any further up the court he'll become a serve and volleyer

Davy just wasted 2 of his 3 challenges in 2nd game of the set.

Fed's returning is Karlovic-esque right now.

Roger won't start playing his GOdmode stuff untill Roland Garros.

Davy will beat Del tomorrow.

Federer breaks back 3-3 in the second.

I think both of them are desperate to win this.

There's some needle in this match; remember Davy's comments re Fed after the meeting between the players?

Needle or not; this is only ATP500 and not on Federer's "try hardest" list.

Davy is just off the boil now, 5-3 Fed and somehow this match is ebbing away from Davy.

Davy has beaten Federer only twice, and has beaten Nadmug 6 times. Muhahahaha.

Davy's career summed up in one match. Close, but no cigar.

Federer wins..

Patchy performance. Some sublime play especially defensively but also a lot of simple errors, particularly off the FH. Plus too many short replies from the BH.

He'll need to be more consistent to win the final.

Yesterday i went to the quarters. Truly amazing how popular Federer is in Holland. I hope tournament organizer Krajicek has learnt his lesson. For years he said he rather has 4 top 10 players than 1 Federer...Boy he was wrong! Federer too was overwhelmed by the reception he got, it was Basel-like he said.
He met his youthhood hero Marco van Basten along the way. Marco, who had to quit football at the age of 28, advised Fed to keep playing tennis as long as possible, Roj promised to go on for another 5/6 years, much to the joy of Marco.

Anyway, Roj' match today was much better than yesterday but he has to cut off the errors if he wants to recapture the ABN/AMRO trophy.
Delpo is looking very impressive, soon he'll sneak into the top 5 again, no doubt. I reckon he is going to be a real threat every tournament he enters from now on, the big man is back. Hopefully the same can be said about Kolya, he played so well this week

Just saw Klitcho Chisora fight, sissy fight, still enjoyed it

Davy should have won today with a set and a break.

Very thin line between legendary and also-ran, as this match showed.

Would be good to see either winner tomorrow.

Federer apparently told Becker, that he intends to play till he is 36+.

This attitude should help him till then.

Yesterday I saw Delpo in cruise control and Roger struggling and thought Roger's is in today for a very tough match, even losing to Delpo. Was I wrong! He leaped, stretched, volleyed, glided, smashed like a phoenix in full flight. He save the best for the last, playing even better than last month in AO. OUt-of-this-world, Roger; good going Delpo!

Well played to Federer. He did clean up his FH/BH quite a bit today.

Delpo : Missed some chances in both sets. Good to see the big man make positive moves.

Nadul fans will be hoping Fed can do the same to Delpo in the French, they are now depending on Fed to eliminate Djokovic, Davydenko and Delpo...

Well Djokovic yes, definitely i would prefer Nadal to face federer rather than djokovic.
But the others no way, federer is a far tougher opponent than either del pot or davydenko.
