This is how I see the number of lines using Twist's as an example (hope you don't mind Twist as both your's and Fan's are up.

Week 1: Shuntingsheep F.C v Real Ale Sociedad

Injury:Gregory van der Wiel

Team:

--------------------------Given--------------------------------
Adriano----------Huth-------------Heitinga------------Arne Riise
------------Nolan---------Barry (c)------Pjanic-----------------
-----Vargas-----------------------------------Agbonlahor------
------------------------Adebayor------------------------------

Subs: Robinson, Dunne, Nolito, Johnson, Rodallega

2 lines of motivation:
Team Talk: We are against ShuntingSheep, a team made up of unlikely faces. Don't underestimate them and play our own game. Ade, I am looking for a good dominating performance from you. Barry, keep the team ticking over.

Tactics:

1.
Given: Be strong in the air; lots of crosses will come in. When with the ball, release our FB's and take advantage of our width.

2.
Huth/Heitinga: Be aware of balls played behind you. Play a deep line to combat through balls to a lone front man. Huth to man-mark the CF.
3-4.
Adriano/Arne Riise: Use your pace to support our midfield and give us added width. Break forward to support our two wide wingers on the outside, as they plan to go on the inside. Barry will be covering your runs, but get back quickly when without the ball and keep the deep line that our CB's hold; ready to be released again when we get the ball back.

5-6.
Barry: Play CDM and dictate the play with his passing range. Play the simple ball to the guys beside him to kickstart our attacks. Barry to never go beyond the centre circle. Watch for counter attacks if our FB's are forward.

7-8.
Nolan/Pjanic: Nolan to sit beside Barry for the most part to give our midfield strength. Push forward but never beyond Pjanic - you are his outlet. Pjanic to make runs from midfield to support Adebayor up front and harass their CDM.

9-10.
Vargas/Agbonlahor: Look to come on the the inside and probe the gap between FB and CB. Look for our FB's outside of you - make runs into the box to support Ade when you give the FB's the ball. Use your pace to take on the FB/CB's and shoot on sight.

11-12.
Adebayor: Be powerful and outmuscle the CB if one sits on your shoulder. Hold the ball up and look for Vargas/Agbonlahor, so you can get into the box. When without the ball, walk up to the centre circle to draw the CB's out, ready for our fast counter attack to exploit the gap they leave. Be aware for rebounds from shots from our wingers, and crosses coming in from our FB's.

Subs after 70mins: Johnson FOR Vargas

13.
Johnson to give us more creativity on the right. Get crosses in for Adebayor and Agbonlahor coming in from the left. Pjanic and Nolan to push up more and shoot from range if we need a goal.

No its ok. I class Ade's tactics as being 11-12-13 (as they are longer), and 14 for the last one.

Point is if Fan had a problem, I would happily change them. As I don't think Fan has, and I don't have a problems with Fan's length of tactics, I don't see an issue.

I know my tactics are over size, they came up as 24 lines of tactics, with 4 lines for each possible substitutions scenario and 6 lines as a managers note. But I PMed my tactics to Hero to check it was ok and he said they were fine.

The problem I had was that when I wrote them out on a word document it was the right length!

Bottom line it is all a bit silly debating over a line here or there.

C'mon we are all grown up guys. A little bit of common sense please. Let's not evaporate all the fun out of the league before it even starts OK

Twist when we were running the Furious you started to get annoyed with peoples budgets and questioned why we runners didn't find this out. I've had a look at some of the managers homepage and they don't have all their ins and outs showing but you were against that. I only want to know what the rules are as I don't want to get punished for making a mistake.

On the tactic page it said bullet point line, line being the key word and when I went to look at peoples tactics to see how it was done a lot were out of the limit.

Now anyone who went to Primary School would understand the following is not a bullet point line

It don't matter if Fan or yourself don't mind if either is out but we're supposed to be following rules. An when I questioned about the tactics tou've moved the posts slightly. I just wanted consistency and don't want to be marked out because I broke the rules (Or in this case didn't)

Just my take on it.
I understand bullet points to be in a similar vain to the tactics done in the European Cup matches in the FL.
Thats how I was going to do my tactics anyways......

I was against it and it isn't needed, as explained Viva. The runners have all the drafts and the fees that were paid. From this point on, people need to keep track of their dealings. It is totally different to the problem with FL.

I am keeping out of it now. I am tired of the arguing.

Any football on tonight? Europa league is tomorrow yes?

I assumed I had 15 lines to use (defining a line as it appears on the forum) and I could use them as I wished.

Then I had two more for my team talk, and short notes on subs.

All this plus my formation of course.

As a dog it's a pack animal that is led by an alpha male, as long as it knows who the alpha male is and doesn't try to challenge it then it's fine.

I wouldn't though ever have a dog of any size above a chihuaha near a child, they can't see that the child is above them in the hierachy so would easily lash out if a tail is pulled etc.

I've had two labradors and I have to say they have to be the most well adjusted and good with all people I have come across. Wouldn't hurt anybody on purpose. Although they probably would clatter kids by accident.

The tactics issue will always have teething troubles at the beginning. I had the same thing in the WWA. Once a couple of weeks have passed it will be ok once everyone gets used to what is ok and what isn't.

The only thing that throws me is that I write my tactics in Word before posting them but the line lengths are different on here than Word so what is 1 line here is actually 1 and a bit on Word. I'll get used to it.
