Agree Kamran, I'm a Utd fan, I love it when we play exciting attacking football but it showed in the two finals v Barca that you just cannot attempt to beat them at their own game and if for 90 minutes you have to instead stifle the game and it wins you the game then fair enough.
I know I'd have preferred to have done that v Barca and have another CL victory notched up that play the gallant sporting loser who everyone claps for giving it a go but ultimately failing.

Ronaldo is brilliant but you hardly see a wall of defenders playing against him together.

You usually see Messi up against 2 or defenders together whilst with Ronny, its usually 1 vs 1 and he has the skill to beat them.

Messi hands down for me too.
It just wasn't his day yesterday which was due as he has been playing from another planet recently.

Come on Bayern

Ronaldo flops ONCE AGAIN when it really matters

Ronaldo laughing
Ramos Run
Jose vomit
Schweinstiger notworthy

Mourinho yet again talks about HIS time with Chelsea and Inter at length.
Why can't he talk about his Real Madrid team....oh yes, his ego gets in the way

Hero what gives you the impression that I don't rate German teams?

I thought Bayern were superb and was impressed with Alaba and Gustavo.
Jumped for joy when Bastian scored.

I thought Ronaldo didnt contribute anything else apart from the goals as he didnt track back..he was in Berbatov mode

Hero - It wasn't about the teams, more of the players.

Not seen much of Hummels are heard too much about them as yet.
I think the Euro's will be a great test and maybe I can convert completely Whistle

Well Bayern are currently the 2nd best team in Germany, Hummels plays for the best one (as does Subotic and Gotze) Wink

4-1 ... wow

Why not?

Maybe not the people's choice but I'm sure he can do a good job

Will be up at lunch mate OK

FC - The Liverpool City game was as follows:

Liverpool 6 goals, 6 predictions = average 1.0 = 1
Man City 9 goals, 6 predictions = average 1.5 = 2
No extra goals for winning predictions for either side.

Therefore 1 - 2

Alright guys. Apologies once again for no predos. Having real problems at present which is taking up most of my time. Will hopefully get on to do the final week and cup if that is still going on.

I see we've agreed to sign Marko Marin in the summer. Lots of Bundesliga experts on here. What's the general concensus about him?

I like him, he's not been that great though for Bremen since Ozil left, he's a small player so will have to be prepared for the rough and tumble of a clattering Stoke player etc. He needed a move, surprised that Chelsea though is the club he went to.

I wouldn't say so, Podolski's goal ratio is pretty poor, this season he's done well but that's more of an anomaly against his normal turnover.

2 years ago he played 31 games and scored 3 goals.

But he does score a decent haul considering the rest of his team are poor. It's like someone playing for Wolves getting 16 goals (ie Steven Fletcher Wink )
