Signings/Contract Extensions

Following on from Kenny's excellent idea to help tidy this section up, and stop lots of different threads about the same things, i have decided to set up this topic.
So any CONFIRMED signings or Extensions you hear about just add them here. For Rumours just put them on Kenny's RL news thread.

BRADFORD

Elliot Whitehead, who was in the final year of his contract, has penned a new deal with Bradford to remain at the club till 2016.

Gareth Ellis signs three year deal with Hull FC from November 2012.

Mate phoned me this morning about this , Ellis will become the highest paid player in Hulls history which could be offset by selling Tom Briscoe . Personally i think it may convince Briscoe to stay .

Great signing for Hull but how many second row players do one team need!

Jamie Peacock has signed a new 2 year contract at Leeds

Hull FC have signed young prop Josh Bowden on a 2 year deal. Bowden who has come through the academy has impressed since going full time.

In the first of what could be a few moves.

Paul Sykes has left Bradford and joined Wakefield on loan for the rest of the season, this deal has a no recall option in it.

Hull FC have signed prop/second row Jay Pits from Leeds Rhinos on a free transfer to a two and half year contract .

Ben Cockayne, who was on a 1 year deal, has now signed a 2 year deal at Wakefield that will see him at the club till the end of 2014. This is due to his impressive form this season.

Castleford have handed young prop Jonathan Walker a 2 year deal, through to the end of 2014.

Ben Fisher has extended his loan at Catalans by another month.

I'm surprised that Leeds have let him go if I'm honest.

Widnes have handed winger Paddy Flynn a new 2 year deal, keeping him at the club till 2014.

Ben Cockayne has been handed a new 2 year contract by Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

HUDDERSFIELD - have handed Larne Patrick a new contract. Which will run out at the end of 2016 season.

Castleford have extended Jacob Emmitt contract by 2 years

Sia Soliola has signed a new 3 year contract at St Helens

Scott Moore has signed for Huddersfield for the rest of the season

Newcastle Knights sign Willie Mason on a basic 40,000 a year contract but with added incentives based on performance .

I would put money on it that Big Willie will not be at the Knights this time next year. He's well past his sell by date.

As brilliant a coach and mentor Wayne Bennett is,I dont think even he could do anything with Mason.

HUDDERSFIELD

Have extended prop Jacob Fairbank's contract with the club. It will now run till the end of 2015 season.

CASTLEFORD

Have handed academy prop Dan Fleming his 1st proffesional contract, by giving him a 2 year full time deal.

WIDNES

Have signed Wigan half back Joe Mellor on a 1 month loan deal.

HULL KR

Have handed youngsters utility back Liam Salter & prop Peter Green new 2 year contracts. Both will be at the club till the end of 2014 season at least.

LONDON

Have signed Hull KR prop Scott Wheeldon.

SALFORD

Have signed teenage hooker Gareth Owens for a futher 3 years.

HULL FC

Have extended prop Andy Lynch's 2 year contract by another year, meaning hes staying at the kc till the end of 2014.

CATALANS

Have staved off competition to keep Scott Dureau, with him signing a new 3 year deal, keeping him in Perpignan till the end of 2015 season.

BRADFORD
Have extended young hooker Adam O'Brien contract, through to the end of the 2016 season,(though the RFL will not okay this till they learn more about Bradfords finnacal situation).

WIDNES
Have apparently signed prop Jarrad Hickey, who was without a club.

SALFORD
Have tied there young French halfback, Theo Fages to the club, by giving him a new 5 year contract.

CATALAN
Have turned hooker Ben Fisher's loan spell into a permanent deal through to the end of this season.

LEEDS -
Zak Hardaker has signed a new 5 year contract .

WIGAN-
Have re-signed centre Iain Thornley from Sale Sharks until the end of 2015 season .

HULL FC, have rewarded young utility forward Liam Kent, with a new 2 year contract for his impressive form this season.

Workington - Have signed ex Superleague and International winger Mark Calderwood

Salford -

Have signed Luke Towers from Limoux Grizzlies

CATALANS

Have confirmed that they have signed forward Zeb Taia on a 3 year contract from Newcastle Nights, starting 2013 season.

LEEDS

Kyle Leuluai has signed a new one contract

CATALAN

Have handed forward Jason Baitieri a new 3 year contract,tieing him to the club. till the end of 2015 season.

WIGAN
As i've put on the NRL thread, will be losing Jeff Lima to South Sydney at the end of the year.

WIDNES

Have confirmed the capture of Huddersfield utility Kevin Brown.

HULL FC

Have confirmed the signing of Castleford centre Joe Arundel

HUDDERSFIELD

Have added another year to full back Greg Eden's contract, taking him through to 2015.

Also the Brown & Arndul deals meationed above are for 4 years.

LEEDS

Have handed utility Carl Abblett a new 5 year deal.

WIDNES

Have signed Leeds hooker Paul Mcshane on loan for the rest of the season.

Hull FC

Richard Whiting has signed a new 2 year contract

CASTLEFORD

Have confirmned the re signing of center Micheal Shenton from St Helens, on a 4 year contract starting 2013.

ST HELENS

Have rewarded youngsters Josh Jones & Carl Forster progress with new deals.

Center Jones has signed a 3 year deal, while forward Forster a 2 year deal.

Willie Manu signs 2 year contract with St Helens

Going by what Gary Hetherington said recently about rebuilding the Leeds squad, i am hearing that Tony Clubb of the London Broncos is interesting them again, and i say again as there was a rumour about 2 seasons ago that he was on his way there.

Yes i have heard that aswell George , heard they also keeping an eye on Mark O'Meley to beef the pack up on a short term basis.

I think Gary Hetherington will be a lot more selective in his signings for next season than he was for this.

SALFORD

Winger Danny Williams has commited himself to the club for a futher 2 years.

HULL FC

Have confirmed the signing of Liam Watts from local rivals HULL KR on a 3 and a half year contract . The length of the contract is dependent on 'Watts fitting and toeing the line ' according to Peter Gentle

LONDON

Both Michael Robertson & Scott Wheeldon have agreed to extend there stay with the club. Both have signed new 2 year deals.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS

Have signed forward Corey Paterson from North Queensland Cowboys on a 2 year deal. Starting from next season (2013).

CATALAN

Center Daryl Millard has signed a 2 year contract extension with the club.

CASTLEFORD

Have signed Huddersfield utility Lee Gilmour on a 2 year deal from next season.
