Following on from Kenny's excellent idea to help tidy this section up, and stop lots of different threads about the same things, i have decided to set up this topic.
So any CONFIRMED signings or Extensions you hear about just add them here. For Rumours just put them on Kenny's RL news thread.

BRADFORD

Elliot Whitehead, who was in the final year of his contract, has penned a new deal with Bradford to remain at the club till 2016.

Leigh,

James Green (Hull KR) joins on a 2 year contract.


Leeds;

sign Jack Ormondroyd (Featherstone) 3 years.

Hull KR;

confirm Nick Scruton will join despite the relegation, Maurice Blair and Thomas Minns have agreed to stay.

Wigan;

Morgan Escare joins for 2 years from Catalans

Saints;

Matty Smith joins from Saints on a 3 year contract.

Catalans

Greg Bird signs a 5 year agreement with years 4 & 5 as a coach.

Really do not understand why Escare has joined Wigan, unless Tomkins is going back into the halfs. But then what about Tierney.

Also not sure about Smith, okay with another strong half, struggles when needed to lead a team.

The thing about Smith for me is that at club level he blows hot and cold but at international level to me he always appears to play well.

CATALAN

Have signed Luke Walsh from St Helens on a 1 year deal.

And all I can think is WHY, I'd be disappointed if my club got him, and we're in the championship.

I thought he was playing well until he broke his leg, but he's not been the same player since.
Catalans would have got him on the cheap, but i would have prefered if they had given a French player a chance.

Leeds; sign Cory Aston (Sheffield) on a 2 year deal and confirm Zak Hardaker will be leaving for another SL side.

Salford; Lee Mossop joins from Wigan (can't see for how long?)

Leigh; sign Ryan Hampshire from Cas on a 2 year agreement.

Hull KR, Dane Tilse is staying for another year joining Ryan Shaw & Graham Horne who have re-signed.

Bradford; Lachlan Burr (Titans) signs for one year, Tom Olbison has re-signed again for 12 months.

Warrington;

Ben Currie & Chris Hill sign extended contracts to 2020 & 2021 respectively.

Hull KR

Sign Jamie Ellis (Huddersfield) and Jordan Abdul (Hull FC) on season long loans and Australian Mark Heffernan (Penrith) for one year. They confirm Albert Kelly, Mitch Allgood, Kevin Larroyer, Josh Mantellato and John Boudebza are leaving.

Hull FC; sign the aforementioned Albert Kelly from Hull KR and Steve Michaels agrees to stay for a further 12 months.

I have to say if you are reading this Tiger, you might just be getting the better deal than FC IMO.

Huddersfield;

Confirm the signing of Lee Gaskell (Bulls) on a 4 year contract.

I'm not to sure, Kelly in a side with Hull's forwards laying a platform, and Snyed having the dictating play could flourish.

Like Ellis and think he'll do well, not sure about Abdul.

Craig Huby joins from Huddersfield for 3 years. Out of the blue this one, apparently Huby unhappy at the Giants, smart move imo by Wakey to jump in.

Castleford; Sign Kevin Larroyer on a 1 year deal, he has been loaned to Bradford Bulls however for a month.

Bradford Bulls;

Sign Phoenix Hunapo-Nofoa (Samoan RU 7's player) on a one year deal with possible extension. Hopefully he will arrive in the next few weeks, apparently plays half back and came through the NZ Warriors academy.

Scott Moore (Hooker) is on trial (4 weeks)

Lee Smith (FB) has signed a 2 year deal

Much better but they do IMO need 2 seasoned Props ideally with some size, the pack is too light again imo.

I know they are in the championship now, but i wouldn't have Moore and Smith in my team even if they offered to pay to play.

Errrr, I may have celebrated early, Sheffield are now apparently saying he has not been released and they are considering legal action for the approach. Please please let us not have another Harris saga. What is it like supporting a club who can spend within their means and sign players without drama, might be a while until I find out.

You just beat me to this, I was thinking much the same they also now have former Leeds prop Ryan Bailey, it is not a level playing field that I am sure of.

They do have 5,000 season tickets holders and big sponsors on board.

Not only has he not arrived as expected Phoenix Hunaop-Nofoa is now not coming at all due to visa issues. What a mess. Scott Moore's court case is next week, Lee Smith is injured, having missed the last few he is not likely to be back any time soon and bar the loanees e.g Murray (Salford) and Oledski (Leeds) who have been excellent, NO permanently signed "seasoned Props ideally with some size".

St. Helens; Sign Ben Barba on a deal to the end of 2019, they are apparently seeking clarification of his 12 match ban. IMO it is very very simple, he failed a drugs test has a ban, deal with it, anything else an absolute disgrace.

Warrington; Stefan Ratchford signs a new deal to the end of the 2020 season.

Leeds; Ash Golding agrees a 5 year contract extension to stay at Headingley.

Bradford; Re-announce the signing of Dane Chisholm, paying an undisclosed sum and agreeing a pre-season friendly in 2018. Ambitious, the way things are going I wouldn't put much certainty in there being a Bulls club in 2018.

I think they will be around. The RFL have put so much money into keeping them going that they won't let them fold.
I do think the RFL have made a rod for their own backs with the support and finance they have the Bulls and other clubs would expect the same support and Finance if they was in the same situation. Time will tell.

There is something to be said yes however it should not be forgotten that the Bulls have re-paid a least a percentage of the loans via the 50% reduction in funding in 2013 & 2014 and even now only receiving £15k central funding with £150k withheld to cover the previous owners rugby debts.

Oh I forgot;

Wakefield; sign Prop Adam Walker from Saints on a 2.5 year deal. More good business for Wakey.

Hull KR;

Have signed Lee Jewitt on a 18 month contract

Seems to be a penalty machine from the few games I have seen, could be costly in the middle 8's.

Sign Mose Masoe on a short term deal to the end of the season.

& Danny McGuire (Leeds) on a two year deal. I was a bit surprised by the length of the contract (McGuire has a number of miles on the clock), thoughts?

Salford sign Tyrone McCarthy with immediate effect on a "long term contract".

Sign Willy Tonga, no idea if permanent or loan or for how long as the "announcement" is via today's team sheet!!!.

Just to confirm Tiger's accurate prediction on the General thread. James Bentley is the first of the current crop of excellent Bulls academy produced players to leave, he has signed for Saints, not sure of the length of contract. Good luck to him, expect Ross Oakes/Ethan Ryan et al to follow. Good luck to him a good signing for Saints he is a tremendous prospect similar in style to John Bateman.
