The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has teleported to Mexico City for the first qualifying match for RWC 2015. There's also TVs showing Aviva Premiership, Rabobank Pro 12 and Super XV action.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the Grand Slam Winners or Dan Carter who returns to rugby this weekend.

In all seriousness it's never going to happen this season though pal. I think that Cardiff might get a bit of a thumping.
Anyway, night pub.

Not too sure about that Rev. Blues, have 7 of a SLAM-winning team coming to Dublin. As underdogs.

Before the Ospreys won in the RDS I would have written Cardiff off. However there is a glimmer of hope for them. I don't see it happening, but they will travel with confidence now.

His little bit at the end is the only bit worth watching. Only then do you see the odd glimpse of market stall trader, street fighting logic of any interest. I avoid the rest like the plague.

Hoi linebreaker (when you next pop in), if you're in the UK when the HC final is on we have a spare ticket. We always get a spare for big club games if we're going.
After posting about it in the last pub, hoogs came in for it but cancelled. No one else has expressed in it. It's yours if you want it.
Cheers Hound. Will let you know as soon as possible.... in the next couple of weeks. Need to plan around it but should be no probs.

Be great if Breaker can make it. The Tour grows.
Kiwi and himself can get de beers in.
Are Ozzie mods as tight as Kiwi mods tho?
Is that racialist?
It's a big country, pal... we're pretty wide and loose when it comes to shouting beers.
I owe you a few anyway don't I?

I'm sure we'll have a few.
Chats, that is.
I also want to see you do the hot-shoe shuffle on those cobblestone streets after a few pints...with ya cloppers on!
That would be the icing of the Tour as far as I'm concerned!

Why are young wimmin turning into men and young men turning into little girls?
Dunno like, but its question that concerns me. For the future of Womankind like.

This creepy gas meter guy just buzzed downstairs. Had the wrong name, wrong no. sounded very suss - but let the Bar Steward in anyway.
Anyway, I can expect the bill any time soon now.
I'm off for a thrilling day of talks on "glazing & illumination"... followed by "Refuel". 5% useful, 95% BS. It's part compulsory requirements but the food the put on is top notch! Plus there's this pretty Czech girl at Maggie's nearby... will pop in for lunch and order her special.
Have a good evening all!

Swift before sleep for me.
Just done my Super Rugby SG picks. The Western Force v Reds game is listed as taking place at the Galpharm Stadium, in Huddersfield?! That can't be right... can it? Unless I'm missing something blindingly obvious

oh yes Swanny, went to Carluccio's for food, also managed to find the voucher for a free bottle of wine there that they sent me ages ago before I left the flat too
Excellent evening catching up with one of my best mates. Despite living in the same city, we had managed to not see each other for almost 2 months! Sometimes, I just don't get where the time goes....

Just in from a friend, after I changed my email from GMAIL (basterds) to Yahoo(lesser basterds).
He has his own IT Company in Paris. A Franglais. Man's a genius and a toker.
This, is what he wrote:
It's all about 'targeted marketing' and 'data mining' and 'user profiling' - but it's for your own good – this way Google can tailor your searches to automatically locate all pubs and other nightspots of ill repute instead of the local chapter of the Amstelveen quilt-making and embroidery association…
…of course – if you write back to me on this my 'gmail' address – Google can still get as invasive as they like about the content of your email – worse still, you'll be blissfully unaware of this…
…in fact – I find the best policy is to do what all internet savvy kids do these days – construct an outrageously fictitious online persona while keeping your serious – real-life interactions where they were always meant to be – down the pub you were trying to locate back in the middle of the first paragraph… ;-)
Cheers dude!
Caspar.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
google are crazy, they're already set up on my new phone (I don't remember letting them!) to automatically upate my loaction etc. Don't know how they've done it but I'm sure yahoo and such and such can do it all too.
I don't like that they log what websites I look at though and then no matter what site I go on they advertise me the same sites I've been looking at for offers etc. It's a bit freaky they can log your internet history like that, don't you think?
