He's my best centre mate, would take a seriously good offer for me to let him go.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
That definitely interests me, but my main problem is I am light on numbers in the centre and have JD covering 12 at the moment, so need to pick up someone to play there. If I can do that, then there's potential for a deal here.

Wouldnt want to lose any of those players as will all be in my starting XV, where as only one of the guys you have would start.
Got a few other players that I have my eye on, but wouldnt want to lose my starting XV when I have Bonnaire who can lead the line at the moment.

I think Croft has more quality than Parling, but am aware of his injury - although he's due back within a month.
I'll do the straight swap.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Can't do George or Robson. Vital eq for me. Have a fee youngsters about a year away from being 1st team like stookes and mills so can't sell any eq until then.
Stookes in particular is a really exciting second row.
Croft and masoe ? You have a mental Backrow set up. Could always take mccaw or Brussow off your hands

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Mate you might want to add Sam Miller to your junior academy , 17 year old plays for West Hartlepool. Meant to be a animal at hooker. He's in Falcons academy.
First senior game was yesterday and was straight in for West.

Bowe was injured yesterday, not taking a risk on a bad injury so he will have no form for months and might not come back the same player

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Wouldn't do it anyway.
North is still academy, would need to release just to do the offer. Academy age and one of best wingers in world already. Not selling really.
North/Whitelock/Pocock are my pretty much unsellables

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Upfront I'd say Jenkins, Ivaldi and Kubra are a little overrated. Jenkins mostly due to his dire form at the moment. I thought I had the stronger front row with Marler, Brits and Afoa.
Suta for me isn't as good as Borthwick. Back row pretty beastly but only JMF plays international rugby.
Michalak not a great 9 for me, much better at 10 as he showed today.
Smith, Martin and Basteraud I don't think are all that. Gits only just finding something like his best of late as well.
As a side I think they are someway behind Clermont. But that's part of this game is that it is individual quality which makes the difference and Toulon do have that in abundance.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Clermont better for me michalak as a player flaky.
Back 3 not great and Bruno on way out.
Rest of team mint. Maybe line out not best.
I had warbs and houghaard killing michalak but not big fan of houghaard at 9 with burns.
Burns great but needs to learn when to attack and when not. Burns will be lions bolter maybe. So so good at moment

Not sure there's anyone I'd lose Cole for. Maybe Manu in a deal, but that's about it.
Mermoz would need a too int 12 which you don't have (wouldn't take SBW).
Don't see anything for either TBH.

I find doing deals mid season has me making calls on form rather than quality. More of a chance to think about them in summer.
Although have to say I am unlikely to let the guys you have mentioned go, we have a better chance of success come summer.

I do really like Croft, one of my favourite players - do have the issue of having too many 6's though. What English of mine do you like?

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Would normally snap your hand off for Croft, as really do rate him, but if I get him it would mean a giant reshuffle of my team and having to balance up my backrow better as I can't have Croft, Lydiate, Messam and Bonnaire to cover there.
It would be for Ashton, but might need to wait a bit whilst I sort out my squad properly!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I do really like Croft, but I can't do the deal as he isnt a lineout leader and that is what my team needs more than another good jumper. A shame as I really like Croft and think he's a cracking addition to your team.
He's back this week for Tigers isn't he?
Would also have done the deal if I didnt have Messam, Lydiate and Bonnaire, also Clark looks as though he's coming through well now.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Well done Like a challenge !! Yeah just could not get tactics in may have made a difference but then again predos weird on here anyhow. Had them kind of done but on home pc. Biggest challenge is now having in laws for Xmas day at my folks!! There house is completely uninhabitable due to flooding.
I always do Xmas at my folks and the new dynamic may be my Everest.
Interestingly at glos game today they bought on Robson for Cowan with 15 to go in a nail biter so shows how they trust him.
Think he will be a world beater and maybe the surprise star of glos. think financials may scupper a long term Burns Robson half back pairing.
Burns is ready for England starts. Never seen a player mature so much. He is best I have seen at glos. his kicking out of hand is way better than any other ten in England.
Still plays a bit too much but gets away with it. JeeZ Steenson has some boot. Haydn Thomas was top at Sh. First bad game Cowan has had and all due to Thomas
Love wet weather games!
