The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Edinburgh, as the team has made their first ever Heineken Cup Semi Final.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Martyn Williams, Shane Williams, Paddy Jackson, Paul O'Connell and Tim Visser.

There's a T junction at the P's place and when approaching on the minor road the end of the road appears quicker than some expect to. So basically he don't stop in time.
Back again!
We live at a staggered junction on the crest of a hill with a little bend!
Rava,
This one was coming straight up our road from the North and said he swerved to avoid a fox. But, it was a BMW so...
Just back from the Tag rugby tournament. Very cold and wet but very happy kids. The boys' and girls' team both won their respective competitions and so are through to the Finals. Not sure if it's a Provincial Final.

Good stuff, Glas. I'd be no good at giving a speech. The words would be good but I'd stumble over them. Or faint, one of the two.

George Smith to centre I like it.
I wonder how Ireland would do playing one of out backrow at 12. Munster have played Leamy and Wallace in the backs before.
With Bastaureau and Mason that is one of the biggest centre pairings in the world at a combined weight of 35 stone.

He must have indeed. And he managed to hit it at right angles too.
No one has managed to hit that part of the wall since we have been here. Most of the time the mechanism is exactly as you describe. I think this is the 5th time we have had an accident bad enough for the police to attend.
Some of the biggest stones/boulders have been knocked maybe 30 or 40 feet!

Toulon have released Mason a while back. Never took to Union- Matt Giteau is starting at 12 versus Stade.

Mason has been signed by the Newcastle Knights (NRL) for 6 months or until the end of the season... whichever comes first.
Personally, I wouldn't touch him with a 20' barge pole.

He's past it, Staggy and so full of himself in an annoying way.
Wayne Bennett will sort him out though. If he falters one iota... he'll be gone.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
I heard he didn't like that he could go through a game hitting rucks and tackling- just wanted the ball in his hands all the time without doing the less glamorous, essential jobs of a Union centre. Seems like a bit of a diva.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
Good to know Breaker. Oh btw is there rugby league/AFL taking place in Australia during June?
Who do people think was most disruptive player at club level in rugby union?
Gavin henson seems to leave a trail of clubs behind him - Ospreys, Saracens, Toulon, Blues have all released him in the last 3 years.
Neil Best seems to always leave on bad terms be it with Ulster, Ireland A or Saints.

See what I mean? He's just not a Union player. Just wants the ball put in his hands so he can do his thing. A good centre is unselfish with and without the ball.
I got the opportunity to play rugby and I always wanted to play rugby. But I just think it is not the sport for me, especially in the centres. You know what I mean? I played a game and I didn't get the ball for 28 minutes. I'm usually off in 28 minutes.

Geoff was saying he's peed off a lot of people at Worcester after their Christmas party or something, not sure if I've got the right end of the stick there though.

That's the middle of the season here, Stag. It's State of Origin time too.
It's definitely worth catching a game or two of both codes.

I am such a dunce!!!
I've been getting so much junk e-mail through recently, I've been emptying the junk inbox in my e-mail account without really looking. And just as I clicked on the empty button today, I noticed I'd had a reply form one of my job applications, but too late, I'd already clicked and now it's gone!
Managed to see which organisation it was from before it disappeared luckily, so I've called and left a message and asked them to e-mail me it again. Not sure that's the best impression I could have given though. Stupid, stupid, stupid

Dreamer they should be in your "deleted items" folder.
For my hotmail account when I empty junk mail it goes into deleted items and I can restore them.

So its got nothing to do with the fact that Poisson Towers is so vast that it's pretty difficult for drivers that are unfamiliar with the area to miss?!

aye aye, up in Llundain at 3pm. Not sure exactly where it is, they've attached a map with directions but work systems won't let me open it.
And I've applied for so many I can't even remember what the job spec was for this one, so you'd best all keep your fingers crossed that I've remembered to download and save a copy of it on my laptop at home!
Diolch guys, am in a bit of a panic now! Already got the okay from my boss though
