The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Cross Keys, as their team is in the British and Irish Cup Final.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Richie McCaw, George Smith, Robert Nash,Billy Holland, John Muller, Greg Laidlaw, Aurelien Rougerie, Leo Cullen, Rhys Thomas and Iestyn Thomas.

Stag - parts of it are, but the rides like Bounce, Megafobia and Vertigo are most certainly not kids stuff, or well not too young anyways. More for teenagers and beyond I'd say, but then I've not been there since I was about 17.

Last time I was there Luke Charteris. He went with two mates onto Vertigo and they were spinning round because he was on one side!

Typical hatred of Munster, selecting Cross Keys instead of Cork. Ah, I suppose I'm used to people hating Cork at this stage, it means we're good at everything.

Thom - twas Stag that requested Cross Keys!
and my friend finally finished the last book in the game of thrones series so we've been able to have a proper chat about it! I hate not being able to talk about books in case of revealing spoilers.

Yes but he is from Limerick and jealous of Cork. I wasn't around to put him in his box....

Old, hackneyed joke alert;
Did you hear about the Cork man with the inferiority complex? He thought he was the same as everyone else.

Yep Notch, but Fry's eloquent thoughts here are similar to mine. Cork is literally that great.

god bless google!
Couldn't find the job spec on the website of this place I've got an interview for (naturally as the closing date has been so they've removed it seemingly), but did a google search for it and lo and behold on like page 4 of searching, there it is!
Ha, going to congratulate myself with a , might also possibly bake a cake to take into work to make Friday go better.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
Hoog nothing major, RD has an interview for a new job on Monday, I think that's the biggest news. I waffled on about how great Cork was for a while (if you didn't know it), Stag got a car, there was an accident by MrsP's gaff but all seems good. I think that's all.
Even as a non Dub, that list made me consider (getting the injections and stuff would take a while ) going there. It made me chuckle a bit too.
Apologies to anyone if I left something big that happened to you out!

Bonsoir new pub. I've bookmarked that link for later hoog.
All in I am. Might have been the Adnams Mayday (appropriate).
Could be watching the B&I final in the Thornbury tomorrow, followed by the first Amlin s/f. I'll see how I feel after work.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Cross Keys
Buenas tardes, amigos. Back from a meeting of the Strathyre Village Association ( that i had to take the minutes for. Holy Moly. Nuff said.
Have not seen that article that Hugh linked, but must say, just back from a trip to Dublin (my third visit) What a Great Place. And beautiful to behold. Asked Gibbo, his bro and SiL whether the cleanliness of the citiscape was down to the local authority or the civic pride of the inhabitants - they seemed surprised that anyone would have noticed. They don't live in Stirling.
Oh, and Dublin has the cutest coppers - sorry, Gards - anywhere.

South African joke for Biltong
A Cheetah and a Lion raced, the Cheetah won.
Lion: "Man you a cheetah!"
Cheetah: "Man, you lion!"

Dallaglio in todays Sport magazine, my lions 10, Rhys Priesland
That some sort of sick joke????
His team by the way is
Kearney
Bowe
Manu
Roberts
North
Priesland
Phillips
Melon
Rees
Dan Cole
Poc
Gray
1f
Warburton (c)
Faletau
It's a straight choice between Jenny Sexton and Priesland at the minute, but the Welshman just had that added attacking dimension with the individual threat he possesses

Bore da pawb / good morning all, happy Friday!
I've seen quite a few people say they'd have Tuilagi with Roberts in midfield for the Lions. Why you'd want to include Tuilagi (or Roberts, for that matter) at Jonathan Davies's expense is beyond me.
Priestland v Sexton isn't one I'm too concerned about. They might both be leapfrogged by Owen Farrell if he can show he can get a backline moving.

I didnt get through to Dragons. It doesnt really suit our group to visit them.
