Re: Homepage
Bowe had a good 6n was abysmal for rest of season but is a big game player. Lots of welsh pundits think cuthbert is far too raw and shaky in defence and positioning.
North started then fizzled out and already has a susceptibility to injury, wing wide open don't be surprised if ashton foden and halfpenny get game time at Wing in the warm up games.
Lancaster was often putting foden on the wing in training.

Pooly, you can throw as many stats, team of the tournaments and match ratings at me as you want, but as you have said to others int he past, I will go with the evidence of my own eyes, and for me Bowe was below his best.
Not sure why you seem to be taking that personally, it's not like I have said that he is shoite, and if he starts the new season well for Ulster he will most certainly be in with a shout of a Lions shirt, but for me, if the side was picked on this seasons form, he would not be in it.

Anybody interested in Cedric Heymans, Riki Flutey, Gonzalo Canale, Alasdair Strokosch or Matias Aguero?
Or fancy taking a risk on Nathan Sharpe not retiring?

Re: Homepage
Below are the Heineken Cup qualifiers in this game. Listed next to them is whose place they will take in the real draw. Northampton Saints courtesy of being the 'extra' qualifier will take the place of Connacht who would not qualify in this game as an Irish team did not win the Heineken Cup. They are therefore guaranteed to be in a pool with one of the other teams from this league.
Newcastle Falcons = Harlequins
Saracens = Leicester Tigers
Gloucester = Saracens
Leicester Tigers = Northampton Saints
London Irish = Exeter Chiefs
Harlequins = Sale Sharks
Northampton Saints = Connacht
The Amlin I will work out once the draw is made, as in the real world there will be two AP teams in one of the pools. One of these will be replaced by Connacht, but until the draw is made I don't know which it will be.

Saints in the pool of death then - not sure what to focus on next year, but seeing that the draw could be pretty tough it could well be the league!

You definitely won't get Gloucester or Harlequins as Connacht are in the same tier as Saracens and Sale in the real world so can't be drawn against them.

That is one strong tier 4.
Pleased Sale sneaked into Tier 3.
Cardiff, Toulon and Aironi if we are to qualify.
Leinster, Clermont and Montpellier to enjoy the ride.

I will wait and see my groups before deciding on what I will concentrate on.
First few months of the season will be interesting with no SH players.
Reckon I will be missing a fair few, potentially Hore, Kaino (out for season though maybe?, Spies, Pienaar, Smith, SBW, Basson, Tiesi, Hernandez.

the rugby championship is going to make things v interesting - tried to sign players that will be available all year round like Siviatu and Gits - think I will lose Messam, Albacete, possibly Cane & Gill in the pack, but should only lose de Villiers in the backline.

I have a fair few Saffas so will lose them until the Rugby Championship finishes. Once the pools for the Heino are done and we have worked out any rule changes for that competition I will make a decision on what to focus on as a priority.

Looking at the seedings for the Heino and the fact that I get whoever Leicester get in real life, the best pool I can hope for is Cardiif Blues, Glasgow and Castres. Worst case scenario for me would be Leinster, Saints (Connacht) and Racing Metro.

Always done on a phone mate. Throw in banana fingers and you have a mess.
I do about 14 hours a day in the week minimum without the socialising on top so always on the run. Not living near London is What does it. Bristol is great but my stubbornness to move puts a lot of hours on my day.
Looking to change my work or where I live as frazzled beyond belief.

You travel into the smoke every day??? Don't know how you do it. I roll out of bed and work is 50m away, joys of living on barracks.
Just watching Crusaders game....Carter is sublime. Really thought Cruden might have pushed him this season with his form but Carter is still pure magic.....git

I work in ascot every day when not abroad 2 hrs each way but often have meetings in London and then dinner maybe 2 times a week. Rugby training Tuesday and Thursday. Hectic no proper balance. Just started doing a day a week from home and passing off a lot of stuff.
Carter was immense. Best 10 in s15 this year been Steyn or goosen/cruden.
Most pundits in SA want Strauss to be bok hooker on form. Personally bdp all the way and then he was a beast on the weekend.
So many good players in s15 in key positions. Ie 2,8,9,10, 15

A lot of world cup players started the Super XV slowly, and Bismarck was no exception. Seemed to have taken the press calling for Strauss pretty personally and really pulled his finger out at the weekend.
SA got so many good hookers it is untrue.

Straus, Liebenberg and Fourie would all be first choice for England. The phiysicality of the Saffa forwards is just nuts at times. If England fail to match their intenisty up front it is going to be a long old tour!!!
