I think he works best coming forward from deep though, rather than being in the hole.

You need a Toulalan type player to play alongside De Jong. De Jong to get the ball and Toulalan to sit and distribute it. Then let Yaya dominate the centre higher up the pitch

I agree, look at the games to the end of the season when De Jong came on and it allowed Toure to pick up the ball from deep and just romp straight through the centre.

Holt's agent has said that
1. It is about money
2. He wanted his contract dealt with before the out of contract ones.

Also said this and I quote, ""A deal was almost in place, we wanted it sorted before Adam's testimonial... David said he couldn't do it"

I'm sorry I love Holt he will always be a legend here, but I am starting to lose respect for him. The club have always stated this, and I quote again,
"The club have clearly said in the past, when out of contract players have been dealt with, everyone else will be spoken to"

What difference does it make if he has his contract sorted out before everyone else's and Drury's testimonial? Headscratch
If that is the disagreement that is ridiculous, I am not happy

Oh god no!

Strikes me as media lies though. Sort of paint by numbers journalism where Holt fits Allardyce's style of play so they assume he's interested.

Morning guys.

I reckon if Lambert and Holt both leave Norwich, which it's looking likely , then I'll stick a substantial amount of money on them to get relegated. Keeps me interested in the lower part of the league table.

I would advise against putting a substantial amount of money on it, might be worth a little flutter! Don't think we would be nailed on to get relegated, we do have other very good players apart from Holt!

When are the results up?

You mean England capped Carlton Cole, who has scored more premier league goals than Mr Holt?

In an ideal world we'd have neither...

Let us remember that such great players like Jay Bothroyd and David Nugent have England caps also. Wow how bad is that Laugh

Mr Holt is staying at Norwich, I read the David McNally gospel

Scores wise Olly it really could not have been closer, you lost by 9 goals to 7, because he got 9 it tipped him to 1.5 average which then rounded up to 2.
