celtic sack allan thompson

OMG! some news thats not rangers related!

anyways, been reported that thommo was sacked via a telephone call and that relations between him and lennon havent been great.

iv not seen much about it down south so does anyone have anymore info (gossip ) about it? was thommo mouthy, not turning up, bad attitude?

sad to see as iv always thought of thommo as a celtic legend.

Didn't see that one coming.

Not quite a legend his attitude under Strachan was poor.

Rumour is he has left his Mrs and kids for some young tart and has been out on the booze and behaving like a young boy. Lennon wasn't to happy with it. Apparently its been going on for a few months now and Lennon just had enough. They were meant to have a meeting and Thompson never turned up so Lennon gave him the boot.

Thompson has let himself down badly. Under O'Neill the fans loved him but his attitude towards Strachan was disgraceful. Lennon wouldn't have sacked him if he was doing his job and not behaving like a knob.

It was Burley he said he seen M'Villa boss the game against Celtic even though he never played in the first game and was sent off at Celtic park after chasing the shadow of Kayal most of the night. Burley is a bitter man.

Was wondering what the craic was behind Thompson.

Seen Lennon wrote that on Twitter. Craig Burley does well to make a living from talking shoite. Thick as a plank and bitter to boot.

How about when he said it is unacceptable for a referee to lie to a manager?

Or when he said Walter Smith was a great manager?

Or when he said the Rangers fans don't deserve what is happening to the club?

Or when he said Alan McGregor is the best keeper in Scotland?

Saying Alan Mcgregor is the best keeper in SCotland is like saying Vanessa Feltz is better looking than Cherie Blair. Hardly something worth crowing about.

If he was that good they would have had offers for him.
