Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
Problem with Wales especially against Oz is the game is already won at 50 mins and Wales decided to play too late. EVERY TIME!
Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
From what I can see, when Wales play with skill and offloads they break through yet this young backline keeps just trying to smash through which will not work. I wouldn't go as far as to say that Wales have been "found out" or that they're one dimensional but the backs don't seem to have the belief in their ability to change their game plan.

I said this during the 6Ns and was shot down by everyone. But i stand by the statement that this Welsh team does bosh very well, it's the subtletly it lacks to beat a team as smart as Oz. People can talk about the Welsh Way as much as they want, but I really don't feel this team plays in that way. It's incredible structured and formulaic.
I think you guys desperately need a new backs coach because the skill is clearly there.

Halfpenny kicks flawlessly cuz Jinks is standing next to him.
Priestland shows us how valuable Stephen Jones is/was.

Need to grab the jugular now and press on.

This is the worst Wales defence has been for a few years now.
Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
SO MANY INSIDE BALLS! Why don't Wales see it coming? All day, the inside ball set up!

Joubert is a terrible ref in my opinion. Wales probably dont deserve to win though.

Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
First half he was being played better by Aus, but a fictitious knock on at the restart, a fictitious touch by Phillips, then allowing Aus to just do what they want at the breakdown, come in from where they want to sealing off etc... Right when there was only one team in the game!!!

Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
I agree Leinster!
But those few decisions just killed Wales momentum, firstly at the scrum, then the lineout, then we weren't good enough defensively, but for 7 mins or so it was a 1 team game, to go from that to conceding is just heart breaking!

If your Pocock your allowed to do anything then?!
Clearly off his feet, called by the ref then pushes the ball out. Again followed by Aus points!!!

Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
This is unreal. How many times have Wales lost the ball in attacking 22? Shameful.
Hook what is he doing? Leaving Bigger home, great idea!

Biggar should be in the squad without a doubt. Very good player.

Re: Welsh and Australian teams head to head.
Bounce of the ball has been pretty kind to Aus.
Fair play to them they deserve a lot of credit for not losing this one. But it was on a plate for Wales with 15 to go, Welsh mistake cost first half and then last 15. Unpressured mistakes as well which what gets me so angry!!
