Yes all votes are the same for cup or league so reasons and scorers too, please.
Some people have been missing reasons off of their votes recently so cut that out and include them or we'll break your star players legs.

Could Ireland get a point against Spain tonight? I hope so as I think if they had something to fight for, they might beat the Italians.

But you get the FA Trophy instead, and the FA Cup 4th Qualifying round.
Then you get to Round 1, draw Fleetwood at home and its a potential giant-killing

It is a village. The reason the name of the club was changed to Ebbsfleet was because MyFootballClub did a deal with Eurostar to sponsor us (because of the tie in with Ebbsfleet International train station). The fans of the club were dead against it, but it went ahead because the people that joined MyFootballClub were just football fans who liked the idea of owning a club rather than being 'Fleet fans.
Our problem was when we got relagated season before last. We were all on full time contracts but we had to go back to part time. That meant that a lot of our good young players left. When we went up, we could not offer full time straight away, meaning we missed out on some good signings. Hopefully this season we can go back to being a full time club.

I drove through Ebbsfleet once and all I recall was a dusty roundabout and the station, sort of like a building site really! Was a little while ago now though.
What's the stadium like, classic non-league or is it a bit classier?

That was because they were building loads of new houses and of course the station. It is lovely there now, really nice flats and it is appealing to people who work in London because you can hop on at Ebbsfleet and get to the london terminals high speed with no stopping. Plus you have Bluewater just down the road.
It is a bit classier. One side of the pitch and the home end is covered and has proper seating. The other side is terraces with cover (I usually stand there because it is a better atmosphere). The away end is terraces without cover
We are looking to move to a new stadium anyway. I think we have a good squad at the moment and can push for promotion next season. We will probably yo-yo between League 2 and Conference then but that would suit me.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XVII
I occasionally pop down to Hornchurch to watch, and they just got promoted last year to Conference South I believe. Their ground is pretty awful though, only two stands either side of the pitch although it is mostly seating.
I would like to get to more non-league games. I live quite near the border between Essex/London/Kent (more or less by the bridge) so I reckon I've got some good scope round there.

If you were an Ebbsfleet season ticket holder last season, you could get into Gillingham's matches for half price I believe.
I wait for the backlash, but I would honestly rather see Ebbsfleet play than Barcelona or Man Utd etc. Non-league football gets some flack obviously, but there is quality atmosphere when you stand in the terraces with your mates, hope for a good result, and regardless have a pint with the away fans in the pub next door.
Hope to see Hero down there next season.

I enjoy the atmosphere too, actually one of my all time favourite football fan moments came during a Hornchurch match when the Hornchurch assistant manager was going on and on all game shouting at players and the refs and everything. And then just after a rant at the ref a fan shouted "shut up you Kumquat!" from the other side of the stadium just as it had gone quiet and everybody heard it...and you know what, he did shut up.
The best part was that it came from the home end.

Haha sounds about right
We do this chant at the beginning of every home match to our manager Liam Daish. We sing "Liam Liam, give us a wave, gives us a wave Liam!" If he does, we cheer. If he doesn't, we boo him!
Such is the nature of non-league football

Afternoon
I'll get back to all of your offers now for Hazard, I don't think I'll be dealing on any of them but I'll talk to you all for further negotiations. I'm not interested in 2 for 1 deals. I have quantity at the club, I want world class players who will improve me elsewhere.
And I'm going to put a cheeky quid on no goalscorer in the Ireland/Spain match, it pays 10/1 and gives me something to cheer on during the game, I don't know whether they'll actually do it, but I don't think Spain looked any good until Torres came on.

Also, reading back through the posts on I can't believe that people are saying that Hazard is Muller's equal.
Its a bit like saying, Jelavic, who was a massive star in a small league but needs to prove it in a bigger league next season, is equal to Rooney (who has proven it on the big stage, time and time again).
Hazard could be a great player, but he has so much to prove. Muller is a proven world star that would walk into most club and international sides in the world.
They just aren't comparable
