If wales calmed down a notch they may cut the penalty count, you can't blame the ref if the players are making it easy for him.
And the refs been consistent for both teams, consistently garbage but consistent nether the less.

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
The ref is an easy targtet, and in all fairness he is missing things for both sides. My gripe is that Wales aren't to grips with the SH bias all SH refs use as default. Aus are the better team at the minute because they are playing to the refs bias, and Wales have taken too long to adapt!

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
Bluesman, we're doing some good things but are letting ourselves down after a few phases. It's very frustrating to see a good, steady buildup then a dropped ball to finish it off. They can't blame the slippery conditions that's for sure.

KK - agree with you there. And I know I always ask for consistency from the ref, so possibly shouldn't complain , but he really has been poor.

I think this is actually the best Ive seen of Aus so far, they look dangerous when the ball goes wide, Barnes and Genia look sharp.
I'd say the game is going to go one of 2 ways, if Wales tighten up and straighten out the set piece they'll win, if not they are going to fall 3 - 5 points short... again!
I know which scenario I'd put my money on!
Same as the first two tests then...

Pretty much Wales 606!
Credit
Ye there are a few handling errors, but they are making more chances than the 2nd test.
Thats a good kick, thinking of it we havn't kicked badly at all so far!

Beale cracked then, that's a first in his rugby career. Excellent chase though, that's what we need more of.

What was Joubert playing at at that scrum, they were smashed and he did not want to call anything.
Then Genias 3 yards wrong side of the ruck?!
Pocock throwing elbows on North!!

I used to rate pocock but after this series I still rate him but really dislike him. Just did a soccer dive after trying to pull North back

Well done to the Scots. Samoa are no mugs. The Scotland team need to do something they failed to do the last time they won an away series, which is build upon it.

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
Sealing off?
I am another pathetic decision from turning off now, it's getting a bit silly, this reminds me of the WC final, only one team are being reffed at all!

Fairdo's to Scotland, they've had a brilliant summer tour That'll give them more than enough confidence into the new season.

This is awful. Let's give the ball to someone standing still and stand around watching him get smashed. Pathetic. It's not the ref, the pack are clueless.

Aus 5 doesnt leave the tackle area and wales 3 gets pinged for sealing off, this gets more one sided with every decision.

Why all the resets for the scrum? give a penalty to the clearly dominant team,

That was all legal, Halfpenny stood his ground. Cuthberts pass to the Priest was forward though. We deserve some calls to go our way at least!
