Who Will Win?
Ireland vs New Zealand, 3rd Test: Teams & Build Up
First topic message reminder :
Predict the score of the game. We all know how close the Irish came last week, can they deliver a result to stamp themselves into the history books. Could New Zealand kick it up a gear and get there hat trick. Discuss.

it was a pathetic attempt at a tap tackle from Earls it was like a baby falling over after its first steps

OK I'm stumped!
A forward pass is passing the ball forward to a team mate, you cannot be in front of yourself.
Same as you were able to knee the ball over a players head and if you failed to gather was not classed as knock on as you"kicked it" catch it and it's fine, get it wrong and your screwed.
A strange one isnt it. I'm only going on about it because in a game I played years ago I tried it and was pinged and when I asked why, the ref didnt know? hehe

Re: Ireland vs New Zealand, 3rd Test: Teams & Build Up
There is not a thing Kidney can say that will be able to suggest, like he did after the first game, that he knows what it takes to create a team, that he knows it takes time. You can't do last week and do this week and claim its all meticulous planning for creating the perfect team.
It's guesswork and absolutely Nothing - Nothing - in creative back play to release pressure on the physical grind of our 'intense' winning games.
It's over. Kidney should declare that his time is over - he is not creating something new, he's overseeing the offloading of passengers and going down with the ship. New ship and captain needed. Not just blaming him either - Kiss and Small haven't lived up to billing either.

No dont sack Kidney, the WRU will refuse to let Gatland go which makes him the perfect candidate for the Lions

SBW enjoying playing at the Chiefs homeground. Good option. No let up from NZ.
I think if Ireland start well they look a different team. But if they get behind early they look disinterested and lose all shape.

McFadden is so out of his depth it's unreal. He's looked out of his depth since the Scotland game last summer. I have no idea why the IRFU think hes international standard in any position let alone the wing.
He and Paddy Wallace have been slaughtered tonight. They've looked like men against boys but at least Paddy has mitigating circumstances.

Anyone else reckon Kidney will resign after this??
I cant actually believe that he still thinks he can turn this around and he doesnt strike me as someone who will hang around for the pay check.

If it was about planning and taking time ROG wouldnt have come on hes not about building for the future if it was then there would be an inexperienced player coming on and being given time in the lions den

This is the first time I have ever voluntarily not watched even part of an Irish match where I have had the opportunity. That for me says it all about the state of Irish rugby this morning. I'l be back for the recriminations through the week. Head down, not making eye contact with anyone on my way out the door. Rodders stare makes me feel ashamed.

Cane or McCaw for MOTM. Probably Richie. If he wasn't on the pitch, Cane would be a sure fire candidate.

Kiss was doing fine until Gaffney went, the man can do one job well or two jobs poorly and it's shocking that we haven't got an attack coach to allow Kiss do what he does best.

It comes to something when the ONLY positive to come from a game is the possibility that a crap coach will leave.

Offload - well, that's one positive I suppose. The coaching set up will change after this.
I can't believe Ireland haven't got anything on the board! Not even a couple of penalties.

Rodders - To be fair to the players, given how they must be feeling, they're still trying, but obviously it's a loss cause now. I don't think anyone can feel worse than they will after this.

Well there goes all the english smugness about the 6 nations win, not so special after all.
Kidney should be held accountable for this. Its been fairly common to see NH teams roll over on summer tours but this is woeful from a side thats really not far from a first choice squad.

I hope 3/4s of the team do the honourable thing and retire. There's no point coming out here and fronting up for 75 minutes over 3 tests.
I want Kidney to go too but a lot of players have been found wanting out here, for attitude and quality.

This talk about a backlash is daft. Ireland have been so bad it's hard to asses this AB team. That was a picnic.
