The Zone Virtual Sports Bar, Hamilton.
Hello and welcome to the Zone Sports Bar, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
This week the pub has set up in Sky City Hamilton, where the Crusaders take on the Chiefs in the Super XV semi final.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Bradley Wiggins, Ernie Els, Irene van Dyk, Sonny Bill Williams and his newly capped All Black team mate Sam Cane.
Previous pub. https://www.606v2.com/t32740-the-dew-drop-inn-virtual-rugby-pub-bridgend

I remember you mentioning the blindfold driving, Prop. You'd need to be confident in your navigator for that!

Apparently the French press have nicknamed Bradley Wiggins 'Le Gentleman'. You've got to love the French.

Heard this on the radio this morning and though it was interesting:
http://www.donegaldemocrat.ie/news/local/donegal-seaweed-could-be-going-to-japan-1-4084682
Aparantly there is a big seaweed shortage in Japan (who eat 90% of the worlds seaweed) since the Fukushima plant meltdown and Japanese delegates were in Donegal there to sample the local seaweed. Apparantly they are looking into establishing factories down the West coast of Ireland.
Great news for the West coast if it comes off.

Rava, I've added Els and Wiggins, plus Irene van Dyk who starred in the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic's wins in the semis and finals of the Trans-Tasman netball league just days after her mother's death in South Africa. She's 40, has played over 200 international matches (70-odd for South Africa before emigrating to NZ) and still the best shooter in the game.

You know whats funny? Round where my parents live (they live outside Ards, near Strangford Lough) they get the very finest eels. And nobody in NI eats that stuff! There's no market here for eel as a delicacy. It all gets exported, most of it to Japan. They love eel in Japan.

No worries mate. I started setting up a new pub this morning about 15 minutes before you did, but mobile coverage on the bus to the station was awful so I gave up on it.

I've never had eel! A real gap in my culinary education- its ironic as it's hard enough to find here, yet Strangford Lough and Lough Neagh are teeming with eels.
One local delicacy from the Lough we do get is Scallops. Sometimes I go out to have lunch with my family on Sundays and the odd time my Dad will do Scallops as a starter with chorizo and black pudding- I'm practically drooling thinking of it

I'd just like to say good luck to everybody's Olympic teams later this week and I hope any of you visiting enjoy what is, in my opinion despite strong competition, one of the greatest cities in the world.
Anybody from overseas visiting for the Olympics? Who are you banking on for medals? And if you could pick one 15s player from your country to build a 2016 7s team on, who would it be?

Gibbo suggested
, but we can save that for the next one, or the one after (possibly a London Olympic Park pub next, or a Cape Town one if the Stormers are hosting the final)the Swan & Rushes in Leicstershershire? In honour of the Tigers. Where the very 1st meet happened?

That reminds me of when i was in OZ, they call flip flops 'thongs'. I was shocked when an Aussie lad asked me if i was going to wear thongs to the beach... Called him a shirtlifter and he had no idea why

When they 1st came out they were marketed in NZ as "Japanese Sandals". The contraction stuck. But at least we're not as bad as the Aussies - for them Durex is a generic name for adhesive tape used in wrapping presents

rodders –they can’t eat 90% of the world’s seaweed. Maybe 90% of the seaweed consumed by humans. Good news for Donegal though, even if I can't see the locals bowing when the Japanese factory owner passes by.
As for eels, smoked eel is delish. Jellied eels are cack –well the jelly is.
Afternoon all from a blazing hot London. I wish I was still working just along the road from kiwi (near Covent Garden). Here in Victoria the lasses are not nearly so ‘risque’ when the sun shines.

I had lunch sitting in the Victoria Embankment Gardens behind work Hound. Plenty of "risque" there , as long as you weren't blinded by the reflections off a couple of awfully pale blokes sans shirts.
