Thank you for that highly informative and entertaining link, Camry. I enjoyed that.
I enjoy the Olympic gymnastics, especially the women's disciplines and I'm pleased to see that more emphasis seems to be placed, at these Games, on form and line rather than over reliance on muscular tumbling routines.
As a girl I was sent to ballet classes. I used to watch gymnastics and pick out all the balletic elements in the routines. Unfortunately, much of that was set to one side at recent Games in favour of the spectacular, crowd pleasing but unfortunately, less balanced programmes.
I think I would have enjoyed watching Larisa Latynina in the Forum. I wonder if there are any video clips of her around the internet...
