Olympics Day 12
First topic message reminder :
It's official - London is better than Beijing. 22 golds at this point, and it means during the Absolute Breakfast Show next Monday, the unofficial anthem of the Games, that being Gold by Spandau Ballet, will be played at least 22 times. The more golds we get, the more Gold we hear.
What will Day 12 bring?

Went off bleeding. I suspect a concussion and a headache but she looked ok.
Yeah the blood shows up nicely on that bright blue carpet they're playing on ...glad to see her get up , that looked very nasty...
Good game this.

I must admit that i never expected this match to be so close.
Holland are going to appeal for everything now which is not a good sign, they are here for the taking.

In fairness, i am not happy with some of the language these Dutch ladies are using, frustration is one thing but some of the things being said are pretty poor.

Its just not happening today. If NZ win they must be furious at themselves because this is probably the best chance that they will ever have to beat the world number 1 team.

Big congrats to Katie, superb performance and given what her opponent has said of her I hope she knocks her on ass even more now. Katie, you have the whole country behind you and the talent to back up your ability, no feicing kill that russian!!!!!! A very talented soccer player she was Crimey saw her play a few times, scored a goal from around 40 yards out once, superb strike. A gifted sportswomen and I think Ireland's greatest sportsperson.
Have been out and about today, so how did Team GB do? More golds is it? No need to be claiming our Katie either you thieving feicers!

Mystiroakey - I'll give you some clues....he repeats himself almost all the time, he stumbles over his sentences...he says 'ermm' whenever he hasn't thought of/seen on the promter the next word he has to say...
He has very little knowledge of the majority of the sports within the games...he ask's a Bronze medallist if perhaps their should have been a jump off so that only one of them one the bronze...basically right after he has just been to collect it...
Oh and his initials are J.I.

Go on Paddy kid, superb 2nd round. Was in a bit of trouble in the 3rd at times, but he managed to avoid a fair bit and picked up a few points.
